Large FIREBALL streaks across eastern U.S. – seen in 7 states

I drive a semi for a living and I saw 2 very small meteorites last night while heading east on I-40 through New Mexico. I always seem to see them in New Mexico, but I have been seeing them a lot more lately.

I'm in VA. My husband and neighbor witnessed one Saturday night that was green.

ugh. wish one would just end this disgrace of a civilization. I'm tired of this shit world In which we are forced to live. fuckin blows.

Until one hits a populated area, with the impact force of a nuclear bomb.

Approx. where were you when you saw them? I have family all over NM and I'd be curious to see if any of them saw it, too.

At 8:50pm, Saturday night March 16th in South Carolina at 34° 50' N / 82° 23' W saw the fireball across the sky coming from the South, Southeast running North, Northeast over a 3-5 second period.

The ball of light brightened the area, which was not yet dark and there was a glowing tail of red, orange and blue.

Waited to hear it hit, or burn up, but no noise happened as it flew below the tree line.

Your question may be accurate to ask why you only 'read' of reports in the US. Did you not read of the Russian meteor a few weeks back which caused considerable damage?

We are not to be informed, so we cannot see the big picture. But it is happening all over the world. Keep paying those bills!

I'm in VA and saw a green one last Sun. It was very strange because it was definitely a meteor but it seemed to move much slower than other ones I've seen in the past.

just saw one tonight

I live in SLC Utah and I saw what I thought was a meteor last night. It went real fast and it was greenish blue.

It could of been a shooting star but it was pretty big and bright if it was and it had a tail.
