As usual Upstate NY plays down latest rape/murder

SO the guy disabled the monitoring bracelet he was wearing for already being convicted of child porn - which included children in the national Missing and Exploited children database. He then goes to the POORLY LIT parking lot at the Great Northern Mall (stats show people rarely get abducted, carjacked, raped or murdered in brightly lit parking lots) and ties up a mom, rapes her 10 year old daughter, then takes the mom and her car to a secluded nearby road and stabs her to death. (Now they are saying he abducted both of them THEN drove to the secluded area and raped and murdered). Story keeps changing.

NOW comes the interesting parts:
This was initially reported as a CARJACKING by all the media outlets here, and especially on WSYR local radio station.

Some local media called it a "STABBING" instead of a MURDER:

Local media has TOLD THE MEDIA NOT to release a picture of the guy. TV news producer said he thinKS police are trying to build a premediation case in case he pleads insanity. You heard it right - premeditation for a guy who disabled his porn bracelet to do what he was already convicted of having thousands of images of. Not to mention they probably have semen, fingerprints and eyewitnesses and other solid evidence.

NOW 50 police are scouring the crime scene for EVIDENCE they need to convict him. Keep in mind police themselves apprehended the man in the woods near the car.

Keep in mind too that it's been FOUR DAYS since the tragedy and the 'crime scene' may have been trampled by tons of curiosity seekers.

Local radio guy talking now how a CAR is the main goal of a CARJACKING - not rape and murder, and wonder what the hell the media is doing, including his own station.
