Quoting: Anonymous Coward 559309 A vulcan mind meld so we can communicate when the lines are down. I'm so completely serious. Well what do we have to lose?!?!? Lets plan a date for everyone to chill out and have a global mediation session together... We all could use it... An think of it as the first steps of achieving a global conscience... A hive mind... Nothing may happen from it... But If ants and bees can do it... Why cant we... Some of us have already accessed the "backbone" that makes this possible... Heard of the Akashic records anyone?!? Im all for it We should do this at least once a month... Practice practice practice it Anyone else? Last Edited by Dr. Acula on 03/18/2013 03:22 PM _______________________ |

That or the Batwing(s) like in the movie Waiting and toes for the other......um never mind I just cannot continue that thought. Maybe it is easier to buy a pink tutu while they are still available. Then prior to the trend catching on, we can adapt again. Last Edited by TastyThoughts on 03/18/2013 03:28 PM "They cannot see what's-up if They are looking down." But the protocol is over wireless so therefore interruption on the internet is wireless interruption, unless you node it over a radio frequency, then the situation gets more robust, worth a look as far as connectivity to a group. KoFFee_ User ID: 1373078 United States 03/18/2013 03:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow, mo, what did you do to me here? I've been trying to skip out to pick up some food for supper, but my sons and I have not stopped talking about this since you've posted it. It's led from one topic to another. I just posed them the question-"What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and found out the internet is down and will stay down for quite awhile?" One son seems to think it would be a good idea to have no internet for awhile, the other said he would communicate using his phone. Our virtual self is a written word. You don't think that the more time we spend on the internet, the more we become a virtual self and draw deeper into a virtual identity? Or have we become two--our true self and the virtual self? Maybe it is a good thing we return to our true self for awhile, if we can recognize it. I'm still astounded at how much texting has taken over our lives. People still prefer texting even if it's more convenient to call. I have deliberately kept my vintage cell phone with its retractable antenna, only because I don't want to fall into the texting trap. Most of our communication is done through writing, texting, typing -- no real fleshly contact. Even the written Word became flesh so He could take care of the world's most serious problem. "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us". One thing I am confidant of is that the Lord is in absolute control; He holds us in His hands. Regardless of what happens – we can't live in fear. At the same time, I guess it still isn't a bad idea to have a backup plan. Now it's off to the store. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7 |

I've heard some of those involved on couple of talk shows in last few months. Here's some snippets from links: [link to www.blogtips.com] Since the writing is on the wall that these censorship forces will stop at nothing until they get their way, free speech activists and tech geeks are seeking to build a new decentralized Internet called MeshNet, which is essentially a peer-to-peer network that "makes the oppression of free speech impractical bordering on impossible." [link to projectmeshnet.org (secure)] Our objective is to create a versatile, decentralized network built on secure protocols for routing traffic over private mesh or public internetworks independent of a central supporting infrastructure. [link to wiki.projectmeshnet.org (secure)] None of the project will be any use to anyone if the word doesn’t get out once there’s a working component. Word of mouth and SEO will be needed to get people aware of, and involved in, the project. People should be directed to the project pages for status and information on how to get involved. Above all, this project should be pitched and communicated as a MeshNet alternative, and avoid negative terms like “Darknet” when referring to the project on public forums or discussion boards where search terms will lead the public. This project is not affiliated with the anti-sec movement or #OpDarkNet. This project is, above all else, designed to facilitate the free flow of information. The type of information allowed is not up to the project contributors or maintainers to restrict.
