While The Knights Of Columbus was partly promoted as a Catholic alternative to the Masons (Cathics were forbidden to join the Masons by the Church), and they have degrees (4 of them) and secret initiation rituals (one for each degree... And pretty much any Catholic man can rise to 4th Degree), there really isn't a comparison between the organizations.

All KofC functions are held in public except the initiations and financial discussions of each council. This is very different from Masons where much is done covertly.

The closest Catholic organization to Masons would be Opus Dei. Knights of Columbus are more like Boy Scouts compared to those two organizations!

Well then they couldn't have anything to do with the masonic lodge. The masons and catholics have been at war ever since King Phillip IV killed several Knights Templars, who were the militant branch of the Catholic Church at that time (circa 1307).

Or at least they were at war, the Bavarian Illuminati may have managed to bridge the differences since Adam Weishaupt was a Jesuit priest. Maybe the Jesuits and Masons are all part of the same group now?

Click on the link to wikipedia, look at their emblem on that page. at the centre of the emblem you will see the fasces, which derives from ancient rome and the patricians, you would need to have a nominal grasp of roman civilisation/roman law etc but it represents the symbol of fascism construed to modern times. that is a fact and you can check if you would like on google. try to articulate an argument in a coherent sentence and check facts before making false accusations and thus making yourself look like a fool, or 'looney'.

Okay, fine... The video is 100% accurate and most of the US government is Roman Catholic, in the Knights and under Vatican control. Clearly I was mistaken thinking this predominately Protestant country had mostly people who are inelligible to become knights of Columbus. Obviously an outside source on YT is a better source for info than the organization's website. Just like the looney left trashing Tea Party and GLP people as racists and murderous psychos are far wiser than Tea Partyers and GLPers on their own friken intentions!

The figure includes $29,183,386 donated by the Supreme Council, and $128,901,128 in contributions from state and local councils, assemblies and Squires circles.

Sixty percent of the contributions were for projects at the community level, many involving youth activities. Large donations during the period included $250,000 by Supreme Council and $3,378,000 by state and local councils for Special Olympics as well as $1,593,000 by Supreme Council and $5,950,073 by state and local for the support and promotion of religious vocations.

The survey also indicated that the quantity of volunteer service hours to charitable causes by Knights grew to 70,053,149 – an increase of 797,507 hours compared to 2009. There were more than 418,841 Knights of Columbus blood donations during the year.

Cumulative figures show that during the past decade, the Knights of Columbus has donated $1.406 billion to charity, and provided more than 653 million hours of volunteer service in support of charitable initiatives.
