Why does nobody connect the Industrial Revolution with Fractional reserve banking?
Look I'm no genious but it seems pretty obvious that the reason we went from 100 million people or whatever to 7 billion was not the industrial revolution but this sicko ponzi scheme that is how we evolved 10,000 years worth in the last 500.

Now sadly comes the realization NONE of us should have ever been born in the first place?

Fractional reserve banking is much older than the industrial revolution.

The two did work quite symbiotically, however.

In any event, we are all owed nothing. Die with honor.

The expansion of the money supply isn't the problem... it's the fact that it's debt that needs more debt to be repaid and then more debt and so on. We all shouldn't have been born? Fine... kill yourself.

Well, but you do have a point, OP. The interest payments being due perhaps spurred population in which to prop up the scheme. But, I think it had more to do with having more hands around to do certain work and the evolution of the culture as well. The national debt is higher than ever, and the birth rate is getting lower, so I don't think people are having babies just to prop things up. So... I guess we just need to change the financial system cause I don't think anyone in the newer generations wants to have 10 kids!

Didn't it exist before the Magna Carta (1215) as the Jewish bankers were in England a few hundred years before they were exiled for 350 years in 1290?
