CNBC is on right now about Cyprus. Says this will force the EU to impose sanctions (?) and Cyprus either has the choice of defaulting or not. They say if they default they will lose global credibility (Cyprus).

I say let them default.

CNBC are SUCH shills for the EU.

True ST, we really need to understand that there's no easy way out of this, in fact it's just a race to the bottom and a continuous covering of cracks, at some point something gotta give in, engineered or not. Brussels just got the shock with the vote, wonder what EU's reaction will be now.

Don't you find it interesting that no comments are coming out of Britain on this issue? especially given that Britons make a largest groups of foreigners living on the Island and a huge bulk of the tourists who visit the Islands, not to mention that it is home to a few British bases..

The RAF are currently flying out cash to the Islands as we speak.. planes that left loaded with cash prior to the vote taking place..
