goodmockingbird User ID: 24568365 United States 03/20/2013 01:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lifelong native Oklahoman here. This did not take place in Oklahoma City, but rather in Bethel Acres, which is a residential suburb far outside of Oklahoma City, and closer to Shawnee OK. Bethel Acres is apparently unincorporated, and does not show up on most maps. Its addresses can show as either Shawnee OK addresses, or as OKC or even Norman OK addresses. The Shawnee/ Bethel acres area are to the east outside of the OKC metroplex. It is a relatively prosperous area of acreage homes, many owned by employees of -- or retirees from -- Tinker AFB. The area is almost exclusively white, but with a lot of Indians. Few blacks or hispanics Meth is extremely big around the area. Most households in the Bethel Acres area would have a lot of firearms. Deer hunting is very popular. I Support Our First Responders |

Either the parents or police figured out he may have taken something like boxes of nails (?), or otherwise think he may have improvised explosives on his mind. OKC has one of the best bomb squads around. Th emention of "shrapnel" (?) may be a legalistic way of bringing in additional resources on the case by implying that he is transporting components for a device. I Support Our First Responders |

If there's a reason they wouldn't want it to be known who he is, what could that reason be? Propagandiated |
goodmockingbird User ID: 24568365 United States 03/20/2013 01:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys...haven't read this whole thread yet but just wanted to say good sleuthing. I'm also getting something out of the place. The Oklahoma City bombing and the shrapnel fits in with that code as well. Quoting: Lady Wolf No "sleuthing" going on in most of this thread, but rather paranoid ramblings that have nothing to do with anything actually happening here in Oklahoma. Some malcontent kid stole narcotics out of his parent's medicine cabinet, stole their pickup truck, and their firearms plus ammunition. This occured in a rural suburb near Tinker AFB, not "in" Oklahoma City. While it is a dangerous situation, none of it is unusual in and of itself. The kid is probably passed out on opiates somewhere. As stated in the KFOR news story, his identity is not being released because he is a minor, age 17. His parents probably already have a lawyer involved. I Support Our First Responders |

goodmockingbird User ID: 24568365 United States 03/20/2013 02:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Another news article mentioned the location of the theft as McCloud, OK. This is consistent with the Bethel Acres/ Shawnee location -- Bethel Acres being unincorporated. But McCloud might put the location nearer to -- or possibly in --the Kickapoo tribal lands. The Kickapoo (Kikapu in Spanish) are a truly fascinating people, and among the most starkly traditionalist and unassimilated in Oklahoma. Many, many of them are into alcoholism, paint sniffing, drugs, domestic violence, and the whole spiralling hellhole of problems that beset some Indian people. Of course the great majority of Kickapoo people are fine, but a larger than average percentage of them (for Oklahoma Indidan people) are addicted. Some would call the Kickapoo very 'backward', some (outsiders, usually) would describe them as 'noble' and 'uncorrupted'. Around here, they are pretty unique, since most Indian people just blend right in and don't have a lot of problems. I am just throwing this Kickapoo thing out here, in case it is somehow involved, since the kid came from an area either in or near the Kickapoo tribal lands. website -- psoted for the curious -- of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma: [link to kickapootribeofoklahoma.com] I Support Our First Responders |

goodmockingbird User ID: 24568365 United States 03/20/2013 02:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Okay, I located the address on a map: [link to maps.google.com] 1) It is not in Kickapoo tribal lands. 2) It is near an unicorporated town called Pink, OK. 3) It is deep in the heart of "meth" country. 4) It is very near Highway 9. Around here in OK, "highway 9" means all kinds of meth, drugs, illegal firearms, theft, domestic violence, insurance scams, disability scams, and general parasitic living. In short, even though the site is near a residential suburb of an air force base, and even though the site is near Indian tribal lands, the actual address puts it exactly in the middle of what is known as just plain outlaw white trash territory, heavy on the meth.
