LoneSurviver (OP) User ID: 21581512 United States 03/19/2013 07:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ammo manufactures make ammunition in "batches" by caliber due to the price of the equipment needed to make ammo. You have to remember, they have to make primers, bullets, casings, and powder, then assemble it into live rounds, then box it, THEN ship it to distributors, who then in turn have to fill dealers orders. Its a big, time consuming process. Chances are the box of ammo you bought today took 45ish days to make its way to you if not more. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 36156037 United States 03/20/2013 09:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Where (besides that one ridiculously priced Ebay item), can I get a 7-round Bersa Thunder Pro Ultra Compact magazine? There are none to be found... Sorry, forgot the caliber - .45 ACP No one makes them but Bersa. And they won't do a waiting list for if and or when they get some and no telling if that will ever happen. It's so stupid that they don't keep a large stock of magazines for guns with so few rounds. The gun comes with a spare mag, but check their prices. Might as well buy another whole gun. |

There are none to be found... Sorry, forgot the caliber - .45 ACP SInce you're a gun dealer, do you deal with CZ clones like EAA Witnesses? If so, I have two slide stop release pins of the hard to get dog-leg version that extend the release pin back towards the thumb making releasing the slide a breeze. I special ordered them for two EAA Witnessess that I sold so I never installed them. Here's a link on the topic that shows my EAA Witness 999119 .45 combo with the dog leg pin. It's what originally came on the F.A.B. 92: [link to www.thefirearmsforum.com] |

They did post someone else's that felt the same about it being more cost effective to just buy another gun and asked them if that's the intent. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 32843213 United States 03/21/2013 08:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A friend of mine and I had been talking about different issues concerning gun control, and something both of us were stumped on was the issue of what to do if you were moving (as in permanent residence for whatever reasons we need to in life) across state lines while owning a firearm. Considering that some people may benefit from this question in these times I'll leave it generalized and understand that each specific dyad of states may be different. |

I decided to go with a Remington 700 SPS Varmint for now. Got it at Gander Mountain. Seems the Tikka's are few and far between at the moment. If one ever crosses my path, I will grab it up and sell the Remington. Thanks for looking out for me though. |
