It's a rock. I agree that, with the legs, it looks a bit like an animal, but Mars does not have an oxygen atmosphere. Nothing similar to earth life could survive there.

I was browsing the Mars Curiosity Rover images and spotted a creature. Please leave a comment, and remember to have fun! :)

No offense to anyone, but posts like this make me feel somewhat embarrassed for this website. People will reach so hard to post anything, it does not even matter if they themselves believe it... causing hysteria seems to be something people strive for on here. I have a picture on my phone of a stain on the sidewalk that looks like a gremlin looking at you. Should I make a post about discovering a sidewalk demon because it looks like one? The human brain strives to find familiarity in everything we lay our eyes on.. so it will naturally find visual connotation to things we see from our point of reference.

You'd think by now people would have that figured out instead of parading this nonsense.

No, I have never been to Mars. It doesn't appeal to me at all as a travel destination. The trouble with Mars is that it doesn't have an oxygen atmosphere, so it would be rather difficult to breathe up there!

What a bad comparison...Just like the toast iwth the image of Jesus Christ. But,guess what? There are people who would believe it.

I can tell you this:I've seen soooo much things in this world that most people wouldn't believe. That's why I never dismiss anything without analise it properly.

Knowing the matrix we live in, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Everything except anaerobic bacteria needs oxygen to survive. Anaerobic bacteria are throwbacks to the time before oxygen existed on earth. And nobody claimed that the rock looked like an anaerobic bacterium!

i dont think phobos has the thermodynamics to cook up some life. saturn's enceladus may be another good candidate...
