I hate to get into it, and all. But north korea was capable of both launching a satellite, and building a wmd. I am pretty sure that they are qualified to Hack a service provider. (being we have 16 year olds here in the states getting pinned on that almost daily).

Strikes me as very odd. Why during a war between N Korea and S Korea, china feel the need to re-enforce its border with N Korea.

I think there is more to this then just a network hacking.


Maybe it was a localized (ground burst) EMP weapons test.

China troops will move in when something goes wrong
like they did before. Remember the 1 mln army march which turned the tides of war again and saved NK back then.

It will be either to reinforce NK troops at some stage of war or...
run to the demarcation border before UN troops arrive to secure it so that the border remains there.
They arent gonna let US troops station on the Manchurian border. In this case they will claim to be there to restore peace.

I would love it if all wars were fought this way. Let's just have a worldwide rules of war declaration that says all wars shall be fought using cyber warfare and rounds of battlefield 3 if there is really a call for battles using soldiers, planes, and tanks. loser agrees to give up what was being fought for, let geeks on screens do the fighting and no one really gets hurt. I guess that's not funny. This is pretty scary actually. Why would banking institutions AND television networks be affected though, as banks (each different back) and each television network has it's own network. It would make sense if the entire "internet" in South Korea was brought down but since our OP is from Korea that doesn't seem to be the case.

Sounds very sophisticated, well beyond anything I might be able to speculate about.
