this is bullshit.

well, people on welfare do get free childcare.....but not with people you might want to leave your kids with... then again, they are welfare scum, their kids deserve to die or get molested.

with all the hoops i jump through to try to get my bills paid, i don't. i don't have enough food by the end of the month. rent isn't paid, don't have enough for utilities. still have to do their "volunteer" work project where they work me at a job that should pay at least $10 an hour......for free.

now, maybe if the welfare didn't have contracts with all the businesses in town to get FREE, volunteer employees then i would be able to find a job to feed my family.

i was a stay at home mom for a long time and then my ex left us and now i can't find a job since i don't have recent work history. my fault, but i thought i was doing the best by my children to stay home with them while i could. not only this, but daycare is so outrageous that having the average job i could get with my experience and skills would end up solely paying for daycare. and probably not even the full cost of daycare.

as it is, i'm NOT picky, i apply everywhere. the ONLY job i will not accept is door-to-door sales, and that is the ONLY job i ever get calls back for. i regularly apply to places like mcdonalds and wendy's and taco bell....never get a call back. i'm not of hispanic descent...which is nearly a death sentence in california.

i am on welfare, i wish i weren't. i wish i could get off of it. even though it doesn't get close to paying my bills and i'm still nearly homeless and starving, its all i can get right now.

if i didn't have kids, i'd rather be homeless than go through the ridiculous shit one has to to be the scum of the earth on welfare.......

if people want to look at welfare recipients the same way as they always have, it should be as easy as it always has been. but its not, and as we can see, it hasn't done much good. there are still pieces of shit acting like they got it made, because they don't NEED welfare...people who do need it are starving by the end of the month and are lucky if they can find money elsewhere to cover the rest of their rent and needs.

and the programs that are making welfare like this are not only hurting the recipients that ACTUALLY need it (and leaving those who don't need it rolling in dough, apparently?) but the new welfare programs cost the american tax payers 3x the amount as it used to....so it costs more. for everyone. and creates what? MORE welfare needing clones because we all know what happens to latch-key kid sin america.
