People are being brainwashed by the MSM to think Cyprus is not a big deal in order to prevent a bank run in other places. I'm not a financial analyst, so truthfully I do not know what will happen.

However, Cyprus citizens finding out they will have no money for at least five more days (and a total of nine) may cause outrage in the streets. Seeing people rioting or protesting hits closer to home though, and that's what starts bank runs.

I work at a bank and something just dawned on me. It is now mandatory to have social security directly deposited. There are going to be a lot of screwed people if the banks go down.

Think bigger - go negative in your account. Then tell them sorry, it's a payment holiday. Then tell them you have unilaterally decided to give them a 99% haircut. Then give yourself a bailout. Then give yourself a bonus.

Think about this too. Banks steal your money every time you deposit it. They loan it out through fractional lending MANY TIMES OVER. If enough people don't pay back POOF your money is not there and then they rely on the NANNY STATE to come in and take them over to pay YOU. They have converted, i.e., stole your money by doing so. Did you sign a contract that allows them to? Nope.

Well actually...you should read the fine print on those accordian type signature cards they made you sign when you
opened the account. You are basically giving them power
