It added authorities called on the armed forces to take swift countermeasures to reduce damage before officially sounding the alert at 10:30 a.m."

Thanks for the info, I am a veteran. Just got out not to long ago where I am still on inactive reserve. So I try to keep up with this cause if shtf I will be putting the uniform on again.

Maybe NK has reason for their alarm/siren. Is it possible they were or are being antagonized by someone?

Defectors Surprised by Radio Warning

The air raid warning that was issued earlier by North Korea’s main Chosun Central Broadcast was extremely unusual, leading defectors with experience in North Korea’s broadcast and print media in the country to react with surprise.

One interesting point about the unprecedented broadcast method is that the traditional strength of the Third Broadcast is that it is a fixed line cable broadcast system, meaning that it cannot be intercepted from abroad. Conversely, Chosun Central Broadcast, a traditional radio service, can be picked up abroad.

Irrespective of which, Kim warned, “If the broadcast was constant for a significant period of time then it may not have been simply a practice to remind people about real air raid situations; it could have been done in preparation for a real situation following a provocation.”

NK has been a whining bogey man since before most of us were born (im 39). And i know the US fought a war back then prior to vietnam, and proud.

Ive Done 2 in Iraq and I couldnt imagine what those guys had gone through.. Very nervous about going into a "Real War" .. Korea is no joke, those guys do nothing but train their whole lives.. Scary times

NK scares me. I think they are using psy_ops on there people pulling China in at the same time . One day soon these alerts will lead to war.

I have 3 sons serving. One in that area, I will never underesamate NK or China…..paper dragons just waiting
