And then there's you. Many times I'll come on GLP and see one of your threads trying to disprove evolution.

Anyway, my question to you would be this: Why is religion and evolution mutually exclusive? Isn't it possible that your God designed (read: intelligent design) organisms to adapt and evolve?

The religious try to prove God exists by disproving evolution, and the non-religious try to prove God doesn't by proving it, and I'm stumped why people think one is dependent on the other.

It's funny to watch someone try to disprove evolution by using science that has evolved to prove evolution. DNA is the stuff that turns the switch on making people blue eyes, or diabetic, or GAY and that when parents share certain genomes, DNA turns on those genomes giving their children certain qualities or traits from both parents, thus evolving a new human with shared parental traits and features.


But most importantly, if Evolution isn't legit and God made the first man and woman, Why do Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

Maybe it will one day be discovered that DNA is an operating system which allows creatures to respond and adapt to their environment.

In the same pond, some tadpoles morph into frogs in the summer, while others remain as tadpoles thru the winter. If it's safe to come out and jump about, they do. If there are predators around they swim away into the deeper water and wait til the next spring.

Also, isn't it amazing that morphing creatures like frogs and butterflies use the same DNA. A caterpillar grows itself a chrysalis, melts itself down to DNA soup, and rebuilds itself as a butterfly! The monarch butterfly weighs half a gram and flies over 3,000 miles from Canada to Mexico.

Mulligan is a golf term, if a player hits a really bad ball the other may let him take it over. Darwin's theory of NON-intelligent design is the biggest 'science' mulligan of all time. To be fair, he made it up before DNA was discovered proving all cells are assembled according to genetic blueprints, not randomly by chance
