The ego was the creation of the demiurge. The "fall of man" was literally the fall from a state of higher consciousness to a disconnected ego state. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42212200 I always find it amazing that people without ONE clue about the Teaching of Jesus expropriate his parables to validate their particular metaphysical nonsense. What Jesus says in the Gospel of Thomas is orders of magnitude better than what his Tolle character could cogitate in another 50 years. Michael
