William Guy Carr was a Captain in the US Navy during WWII. He wrote many books and made many speeches on the Illuminati before anyone knew what it was.

He was one of the first modern Americans to expose the banking cartels as pulling the world's strings & running the world's revolutionary movements.

He puts the Christian slant on his conclusions (e.g. Satan behind it), so take that with a grain if it's not your thing, but his historical research is amazing. I'm not going to give the rest away, but let's just say most modern conspiracy researchers started by using or expanding on Carr's research.
