OK, I've got a stupid question -

I've never used google maps for anything other than looking up an address - how/what exactly am I suppose to do to help you map this?
 Quoting: Rev StarGazer

Rev. StarGazer, that is NOT a stupid question. If anything I am the one that did not give directions in the first place.

When you click the link to the public map (you can make them private as well), you will see at the top of the map side right next to and right of the zoom tool three icons. A hand, a balloon and what looks like a chart.

Drag the balloon to the desired location and when dropped a text box opens up. There you can put your general location and a description.

A few years ago on a whim I started one that tracks all the booms and rumbling sounds. The rumbling sounds have a pattern that follows flight corridors. Go figure. Thoughts at the time were probably Aurora - happened at the same time as some super special bombings in Iraq and Afgan areas.

Added a simple line linking the ones that I have on the map. No pattern as yet, will delete it if it's useless.

Thanks! I'm outside in the garden on my phone at the moment - will add my location as soon as I am back on the 'puter

BTW - sitting out here because our weather changed abruptly yesterday. We've had an unusually cold winter with little to no rain and then all the sudden, woke up to summer. Except, summer usually doesn't start till May and this type of weather/heat does not usually come until late August or September.

When I interviewed the gentleman who does the web spider thing and does linguistic magic with the results on my show - he was the first guest ever (owed me a favor) we spoke for nearly an hour about the environment and the changes.

Also, it just hit me. Starting the first week in March to the end of May is when they are seeing a nearly total drop off of anything coming from the web. Just throwing around a few theories here. Could be the start of it all.

OK - you can put the balloon near Haena State Park, north shore Kauai

In the last month, I've had a 2-year-old printer and a 3-year-old router die on me. And I logged on to my 2-year-old laptop today and apparently the CMOS battery on the motherboard is shot because the date was January 1601, 2099. I'm kinda sick of this.

Not sure if this is related but Wednesday the lights in my car lit up - this is a well serviced car - turns out it is the transducer which is electronic/computer...still trying to have it fixed ....also same day a few new electrical appliances stopped working around the home. wonder what would come of it if you overlapped a map of everyone reporting vertigo, dizziness and waves of nausea???

Did not bother to read through the thread but i do have to add... This morning i awoke at 5 am. One of my pc's that i use to play movies on my tv just happened to awake from sleep mode on it's own. Never had this happen before, it is beyond weird. Normally to wake a pc out of sleep you have to click any of the mouse keys or any of the keyboard buttons. It started up from sleep on it's own...

I nearly died last summer (long story) and one of the symptoms I have to live with is fainting and vertigo mixed with some most excellent dizziness. No, you don't get used to it. I have a LOT of problems with stairs now.

If people want to continue to help with the investigation, I'll use let's say, RED balloons for dizzy/vertigo.

Many of us are having this, prepping us for when net goes down.

It is possible that this is in preparation for something critical.

Found out that my DVR did not record it's Sunday night shows.

On Monday morning, I woke up to find the fuel pump on the pick-up had died overnight.

Later that day, I realized that one electrical line in my house had stopped working. Last time that happened, there was some electron or proton spike from the sun.

Ha!

Funny think was, having seen the first two episodes of The Bible out of curiosity, I was pretty certain that there was some 'subliminal' messaging behind it...so I decided to keep watching.

When I noticed that it had not recorded, a thought came in my head that the Universe was watching out for me!

Unfortunately, it did not record Californication either.

But, I did manage to record repeat episodes of both. Still haven't watched them yet.

Since there were two in NYC, I took the liberty of changing the other to yellow, so it stands out when the map size is reduced, and moved mine into the ocean a bit, so the three near the East Coast which then come together are still fairly visible.

Interesting project!!!

Yea!

This is totally weird. My check engine light just went off by itself today after about a week of being on - AND during that time I kept getting static shocks when I'd get out of the car - in Houston. And every time it happened, I'd think it's odd, because I only remember getting static shocks when it gets cold and dry around here, which tends to be brief - it's been pretty humid lately. I didn't think of the two as being related until reading this thread.

I've pinned it, so more people will see this.

Maybe you should add a quick 'how-to' to the opening post.

Love this map.

GLP could very well have a map section for threads where people are tracking phenomena.
