the clock in my vehicle started losing time today. It was 1 min. off at 5:30am by 5pm it was 4min. off. I get 3 20min breaks at work which I go out to my vehicle for and noticed the time being wrong...pulled out my cell and sure enough the vehicle clock was losing time.

Location?

Crap, just realized that time of day should be included. Crap. If it's solar based and sun position isn't calculated, that's a problem.

Oh well, it's dark here and the remote is acting up.

Also interference during the call.

Thanks! I'm outside in the garden on my phone at the moment - will add my location as soon as I am back on the 'puter

BTW - sitting out here because our weather changed abruptly yesterday. We've had an unusually cold winter with little to no rain and then all the sudden, woke up to summer. Except, summer usually doesn't start till May and this type of weather/heat does not usually come until late August or September.

Just curious, but how do you expect people with electronics issues to connect and post about it on the interwebs?

Sorry if it has already been asked.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1158628

No problem. Odd thing is that this seems to be limited to either automotive or small handheld electronics.

I have a video server, and audio server, and audio file laptop, this laptop and the wife's laptop all running 24/7. No issues with any other than damn ass slow uploads to some sites. Downloads, no issues. I stream me show from in house so I'm pretty alert to upload speeds.

Have been continuously getting 'zapped' for the past week or so (shooting pains & tingly sensations) - some in my feet also. Primarily, when I touch the mouse (wired) on my computer. And to a lesser extent from the keyboard and steering wheel from my car.

I am starting to wonder if it is a 'nerve' issue. But it seems to come from electrical things..

We have Fios and have never had issues in the past 4 years, but about 2 days our internet connect just drops constantly. I called and was told nothing was showing up in their system check. Also our television went off and made a really loud buzz noise yesterday.

Despite what was said about the solar activity. I would attribute most of what I've seen here to the sun. The fact that we're going through the most active part of solar maximum right now, it wouldn't surprise me if the sun had a lot to do with it.

I keep getting light, buzzing electrical shocks from almost everything - even touching the wood walls of a house yesterday

and yes, my computer has been acting very squirrly - randomly opening up pages without me touching anything, diconnecting and reconnecting to the Internet even when I'm only a few feet from the wifi modem
 Quoting: Rev StarGazer

shit i agree with electrical shocks, even touching my wife hand will create an electrical matter, its in the blanket too, very scary.

Same here. I'm getting constant static shocks. I'm one of "those" people that is apparently well grounded. Well, it's been snowing/raining here in Michigan. Trust me, the humidity is high. Static shocks outside constantly. Getting tired of it.
 Quoting: Billxam

Same here in northern va! I even mentioned to my husband that it was odd we were getting shocked and there was so much static with it raining and damp out

Yes!!!! Entire power outage of everything in my house several times for no reason at all then everything turns back on a few seconds later. Random inside car lights turn on by themselves, phone will shut completely off with full battery, crazy migraines, will get dizzy out of nowhere, static electric shock galore.....where do I even begin? One time I was talking with a friend on the phone when we brought up the NWO we didn't just lose connection but both of our phones completely turned off!! Crazy!

New Mexico, here. Our Internet connection has been driving us crazy for four days.

We have static electricity too, but that is normal for here.

So weird that it is happening all over!

Re: anyone else having electronics issues? MAP added!
I live in Trenton, NJ. let me tell you it's been a heck of a week and a half! Starting on the 15th of March I went out to take my normal pics...I went inside cause the clouds were getting pretty heavy. 5 minutes later I had a very weird experience that I have since learned was a scintillating scotoma. I've never ever had such a thing happen before. Looking in the mirror freaked me out cause I had an arc that went from the top of my head to the the left side of my body ending at my heart. It was like a pixel-ated rainbow. It lasted like 20 minutes.

So this went away and read I probably wasn't going to die unless it happened when I was driving. I read that it was basically a visual migraine.blink

A day later I got my very first migraine. That sucker lasted for 5 days on the right side of my brain right in front. The only thing that helped was sleep (ibuprofen did nothing but muffle it) but of course I worked for 3 of those days not including the day with the S.S. attack.

The day the headaches stopped the electric shock therapy began. I was scared to touch anything...funny thing is though it was raining the two days I had it! The last two days I had nausea, most especially today. I've also started having my left ear ringing here and there. The other was affected by Bell's Palsy a few years back and will probably never be the ear it used to be.

We had a couple of things going on with the electric but not as much as the physical things happening to me. The lights flickered a few days back and some clocks reset but not others and there wasn't any electrical boxes knocked out, I checked. My internet it slow...we got a new router and it should be fine now but it isn't and occasionally internet goes out. I've been getting a heck of a lot of wrong numbers lately calling me and I've also noticed neighbors batteries have died in their cars(I watched as 2 were replaced). Cable occasionally gives me trouble(Comcast-My dad was yelling about calling them from the living room just last night because he was missing his shows).

Hope this helps. hf

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but..I'm in Dayton, Oh area and yesterday our transformer went out, power down for about 4 hours, to 43 people. I didn't think too much of it, until my brother had the same problem at his house across town a couple nights ago. He said he had a guy working in his backyard at like midnight - 3am, and it was a little unsettling. Seems it's been happening all over, and we've seen many electric trucks in the past week, above the norm. They are parked everywhere.

Question: What type of ground are you on? I don't know if the Antrim shale deposits go that far or not but will check the strata in your area.

I only mention that because we're getting the weird stuff here in SE Michigan and across the Detroit river.

Memphis, TN! Front porch light just went dim as hell and no, its not the bulb, not ruling out the fixture, but I know it isnt the bulb. Also my ear buds for my Ipod shocked the hell out of my ears today for no reason. My co-worker actually saw the static discharging on my ear. Yes, it hurt!
