Is Guam a dumping ground for mainland USA homeless people?? | |

I know that a lot of the people who aren't Guamanians (and quite a fews who are are either military (at Anderson AFB and NAS Agana) or work for the military. But the idea of the government spending tht kind of money to fly homeless people to Guam doesn't make sense. Sending them to other warm-weather locations -- like Phoenix, Miami, or San Diego -- would be a lot more cost-effective, and besides, since when does the government care what the streets of our towns look like, or whether there're homeless people there or not? By the way, were you touristing there or what? I went to high school there (John Kennedy High School) when it was still Tumon Junior-Senior High School. Hafadai! |
