Police Captain uses riot mace on constrained inmate at Maine Correction Institute... DISTURBING FOOTAGE

I can attest to this occurring everywhere.

I live in Texas, and the judge "deemed" it necessary for me to be sent to jail over night.

Well, the processing (alone) took 8-hours, and I remained there about 30 hours, as it took my father time to come and get me.

Despite my crime being a misdemeanor, during that 30 hours I was fed nothing but two small, crappy sandwiches. I only received one glass of water.

As they processed us, they made us strip down in front of men and women. Literally. There were benches behind us full of other women and men being processed, and they made us all strip down in front of them.

The women were forced to do the same thing, in the same room. They simply told the men "turn around on the benches" and watched us lightly.

The legal system, in effect, is not to help people. I recommend to anyone to do their best to remain away from the legal system in any which way possible.

You truly find the worst of human kind there.

So, where's the disturbing part? I must have missed it somehow.

Another instance I had: It was bad weather where I live, and the car in front of me slammed on his breaks.

I slammed on mine, and missed him, but the lady behind me not paying attention ran into me, causing me to run into him.

We all went to the Kroger next to us, and I called the police to come out for a report.

After doing the report, and the other two people were let go, the officer comes to me and says "oh, we have a warrant out for you, can you follow me down to the station and clear it up"?

Well, I couldn't say no. So, I followed him down to the station after my accident.

Once I got there, I walked into the department with him, where they hand cuffed me, and processed me into the jail. No jokes, nothing but serious.

I started asking questions, and was told to shut the fuck up. They wouldn't let me make a call.

24 hours later, the cop lets me make a call to my dad. they posted bond for $800, but would not let them pay it immediately.

So I stayed another 24 hours, in which the guard taunted me "James, your grandma keeps calling asking for you, but too bad you don't get to talk to her. Or your dad. Your ours for awhile.

The whole night I would try and ask why I was in the jail, and then kept telling me to shut the fuck up and stop whining.

Only got one McDonalds burger, go figure, the whole time I was in there, and once again one cup of water.

After 72 hours, I was released.

Turns out the warrant was an error after me and my father went next door to the office. They didn't refund us, we just left as quickly as possible.

Seriously, fuck police.

If i knew this mace spraying POS he would not live till the next morning. Simple. I don't know him, but if i did.

Prisons are the FEMA camps we all so fear. Torture is everyday business in jails as well. We wonder what is wrong with our fellow man when out driving or in the stores? How about your churches. These men who did this torture are right along side you in your communities and they don't LOOK like monsters. Evil has no limits anymore. We have had prisons for thousands of years and this is as good as it gets? BOLLOCKS...they are for profit institutions to insure that offenders come out worse than before and release them early right upon you. These officers are not doing society good...wake up. I've been sprayed with pepper spray as part of my military police training to know what it felt like but I have to say that I kind of feel bad for this kid. I don't know what he did to get in there but it was hard for me to watch knowing that his lungs, throat, and eyes were burning.

It amounts to summary torture of an incapacitated Human Being.

A Standish man's Thursday morning crime spree, which included trying to steal an ambulance from Maine Medical Center and three armed robberies, came to a messy end when a McDonald's worker doused the man with hot coffee as he stole a cash register, police said.

Officers descended on St. John Street at 6 a.m., and Paul Schlosser tried to escape by climbing into the passenger side of a car stopped at a nearby ATM. He ordered the motorist to drive off, but the man refused, and moments later police took Schlosser into custody.

Chief James Craig said Schlosser's spate of armed robberies was driven by his need for drugs, and investigators are exploring whether he may be responsible for a series of unsolved crimes in the West End.

Craig declined to release photographs of Schlosser, a baby-faced 25-year-old with short blond hair, because police may ask victims if they can identify him in a lineup.

Officers had been on the lookout for Schlosser ever since a reported knifepoint robbery at Cumberland Farms on Pine Street shortly after midnight.

A man had entered the store, threatened the clerk with a knife and fled with cash in a red Subaru that had been reported stolen a few days earlier, Craig said at a news conference. He said officers recognized Schlosser on the store's security video.

"It should be noted that Schlosser over the past five years has been arrested 30 times for crimes (such as) burglary, theft, possession of drugs, probation violation and driving offenses," Craig said. "We got a bad guy off the street."

A Maine Medical Center security guard heard police discussing the case on his police radio and at 1 a.m. spotted the Subaru, abandoned, on hospital property.

At 2 a.m., a Westbrook rescue worker told police that someone had tried to steal her ambulance from the emergency room parking area but ran off when she discovered him, police said. Police identified the man as Schlosser from a hospital security video.

Officers were called to the Circle K at 393 Commercial St. at 3 a.m. for another armed robbery report, and again security video appeared to show Schlosser, Craig said.

Schlosser showed up at McDonald's on St. John Street at 6 a.m. and, holding a knife, demanded cash. The clerk refused. He went behind the counter, headed for a register, when a female clerk tossed hot coffee on him, Craig said.

Undeterred, Schlosser tried to pry open the register with his knife, and failing that cut the wires connecting it to the counter, police said. He dropped the knife and took the register outside, smashing it on the ground in an effort to open it. He fled as police arrived.

Craig said it was fortunate no one was hurt in the spree, and he praised the work of Officers Michael Galietta, Henry Johnson, Chris Dyer and John Roberts in taking Schlosser into custody without incident.

Schlosser is charged with three counts of robbery and one count of attempted unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is being held on $50,000 bail in the Cumberland County Jail.

Craig said Schlosser admitted to using drugs, including cocaine, and stealing to support his habit.

When I was in basic military training, they had a small group at a time go in a room with our gas masks on then they close all doors and release CS gas. They then had us take off our masks while the gas has been released and we have to breathe it. Your eyes turn to water and lungs turn to fire. Mucus and saliva are running out of nose, eyes and mouth.

What enemy is going to use CS gas? If chemical agents are used and you breathe it, you are fucked. This is used as a torture test. I understand military going through this, but when it is used on civilians, it's a whole different story.

I don't find it a problem to spray the guy to restrain him. When it continues after the threat is neutralized, that's when it becomes torture.

What everyone seems to forget is, no matter what you are locked up for, if you cage a human like or worst than an animal, they most will respond in the worst case scenario.
No human is built to accept complete domination like this or what the current police thugs try to implement.
