My link on the ice caps suggest that scientists (with access to this data as well) think otherwise.

At the end of the day, we can only go with the science in this area as reasonable people do in all areas of our lives. Oh I know that you people think that scientistrs are after grants. Which is say I say to you, abandon all the advances made by scientists and follow your inclinations. The reasonable majority are not going to however, so as the science for this emerges, we will give it due consideration.

[link to www.uni-koeln.de] There are 15-20 weather stations in N. Canada that have temps 50 degrees f above surrounding stations. It has always been this way. That explains the giant red contour(heat pulse in N. Canada) around that area. They are lying about G.W., and don't bother hiding it. Does the truth matter at all! Do you want more taxation to combat a lie? OP

If you want to know the real reason the climate is changing, watch the movies "They Live" or "The Arrival". If you want to live on another planet, it's not feasible to wear spacesuits or live in domes forever. If I wanted to live on another planet, I would terraform it, and hide my presence from the current inhabitants as much as possible. Always remember. If you have something, somebody else always wants what you have.

Who says? The scientists, considering all the data, suggest that we are looking at the reverse in Antartica, ice compromise...I posted a link above which quite clearly says that when discussing Dunedin city councils preparations. The Arctic is in a precarious position as well, going by the science of the reasonable man which is what I always consider, grant funding aside. After all, if a scientist is good enough to consider for other areas of my life, why not climate. If you think otherwise, feel free to avail yourself of a life free of the benefits of science.

Therefore, in totality, the scientists are arguing that as this progresses, we will have increased volatility as the system fractally prepares for a range change. Hanson suggests that volatilty may in fact see extremes of cold and heat, ice, snow and precipitation in the transition to new ranges.

So this tells me nothing other than the dreaded for volatility may be emerging.

Thread: Most Important Video of 2013

I've never been a proponent of the global warming theory mostly because of all the lies they kept throwing around. Methane release is the real deal though. It's no bull and it's well understood, it's a well known fact that it's quick release would be a game over event for us in short order. It's happened before and was the cause of a major planetary extinction event. The only question is has it started already and how fast is it releasing.

The answer to that based on new testing this year is yes, and it's accelerating. This is unfortunately real and an issue that we must face and hopefully still have time to turn around. Our fossil fuels are a factor in this but only a very tiny one. The real problem is geoengineering that has been going on for the last 50+ years, we are seeing the culmination of it's use. That's right, the chem trails that don't exist are the primary cause of what is happening. Did you notice the sun is intense lately? That is because they have destroyed the ozone layer with the spraying (chemtrails).

If the Methane starts releasing too fast it's game over for the human race. The release has already started speeding up and has been verified with testing, we are in serious trouble now.

There are over 10,000 Tons of "sequestered" methane in the Northern Siberia deposit alone. It only takes 60 tons to release and that is enough to start the irreversible process and end the human race in a 3-5 year time frame.

This is the kind of doom we do not want.

There are a lot of scientists who discredit the global warming movement for many good reasons. None of those scientists disagree about the effects of methane release though, they do agree that it would be a game changing event (read: dirtnap). The only new information is that it is happening now and accelerating.

So please don't lump sequestered methane release with the regular global warming group. Methane release is a result of the planet heating up for any reason. We don't want the methane to release, there is no going back for us if we do.

Which is why you need to read Hanson on the Venusian effect. It is a clear, concise article on google and makes a very persuasive case for the feedback mechanism that are kicked into touch leading to tipping points in for example, methane dischage, when considering human emissions (he also examines clouds and cloud cover in this discussion piece.)

It is a reasonable article and also addresses that other nut, the suns emissions and its place in this equation.

Re: "An event unprecedented in human history is today" - Methane gas at record highs
From Science Daily: short and sweet explanation of what sudden bigass methane does to cause mass extinction event:

[link to www.sciencedaily.com]

In an article published in the September issue of Geology, Gregory Ryskin, associate professor of chemical engineering, suggests that huge combustible clouds produced by methane gas trapped in stagnant bodies of water and suddenly released could have killed off the majority of marine life and land animals and plants at the end of the Permian era -- long before dinosaurs lived and died.
The mechanism also might explain other extinctions and climate perturbations (ice ages) and even the Biblical flood, as well as be the cause of future catastrophes.

Ryskin calculated that some 10,000 gigatons of dissolved methane could have accumulated in water near the ocean floor under high pressure. If released quickly, perhaps triggered by an earthquake, the resulting cloud of methane would have an explosive force about 10,000 times greater than the world's entire stockpile of nuclear weapons. The huge conflagrations plus flooding and overturned oceans would cause the extinctions. (Approximately 95 percent of marine species and 70 percent of land species were lost.)

"That amount of energy is absolutely staggering," said Ryskin. "As soon as one accepts this mechanism, it becomes clear that if it happened once it could happen again. I have little doubt there will be another methane-driven eruption -- though not on the same scale as 251 million years ago -- unless humans intervene."

Well, based on posting history up to and including this last post of yours, that would be you.

What does Fox have to do with anything? Man-made global warming/climate change is a hoax comprised of Marxo-corporate greed (Al Gore/Obama/Goldman Sachs et al) and faked data from compliant ideologue pseudo-scientists.

The process will unfold slowly but the consequences for humanity will be dire. Humanity has been reduced to small numbers in the past, from millions to thousands. This time it will be reduced from billions to thousands. Preparations have been underway for years along with vast shifting of resources to save some portions of humanity, this is going on around the planet. No they're not underground alien bases, they're human/earth bases and they may support limited populations for thousands of years. When most of the people are gone the earth will recover but the recovery process will require another ice age to lock up the methane and other gasses back into the ocean depths and permafrost and ice packs.

In fact I dont ever remember anyone calling doom apart from James Lovelock and more recently, James Hanson. To date, the message has been one of avoiding the risk.

why dont they put the methane in big tanks and use it outside the atmosfere of the earth ?

like rocket fuel for big misions to other planets.

first you startup with normal rocket fuel, and whene you are out of the atmosfere of the earth you can use the methanegas.

store lots of the gas on the moon ,there is a lot of room :)

that gas we can use to generate lot`s things if we use it out of oure earthy atmosfere

Strange a few days ago i posted the same articles on the same website over the same subject and no one seemed to care.

A few days later i'm amazed by seeing the same old news getting pinned with 15 pages of comments?

Anyways i'm glad the methane debacle is catching up.

Here is a few websites that those interested in the subject might wanna check.

The global warming is being caused by a warming in sea temperatures which is caused from the sea floor bottom.

Infact every planet in our solar system is experiencing change. Even the sun is getting warmer that's the reason why it is magnetically weak. (lack of sunspots...)

Something is changing the vacuum medium. (the cosmic equilibrium within the vacuum of our solar system.)

Wether it is the arrival of nibiru or something else remains to be seen.
