Because methane is lighter than air the released methane rises and sits on top of the atmosphere. Because it reflects infrared it cools the earth.

It goes to the equator due to earth's rotation and there is a bulge there. Thats where some planes have crashed. In the intertopical covergence zone. Planes can't fly in methane. The last one I looked at had sent an out of spec pitot tube reading before the crash as its last communication. Thats what you would expect for methane. Clear air turbulence may also be caused by it.

Its why the Russian meteor exploded. It draws down the methane above the atmosphere and mixes it with air and detonates it. The Indonesian detonation was 50kT and created EMP that tookm some of the power grid down in Oz. Tunguska was estimated at 3 to 5 megaton. Rocks don't explode. Fuel-air mixtures do.

Water vapor does not disolve in methane like air so its release can be accompanied by large clouds (so called mystery clouds). One spotted by pilots in the Pacific was estimated at 200 miles in diameter.

Nope. It is the direct result of a shrinking atmosphere. ALL weather extremes we've seen recently are. Drought here, massive flooding there, huge snow storms etc. The atmosphere shrinks & expands with solar activity. We are in the solar "maximum" right now but it's an extremely weak maximum, that followed a very low minimum. Some astronomers are calling for a mini-Maunder, which was the cause of the last mini-ice age.

At the end of the day, we can only go with the science in this area as reasonable people do in all areas of our lives. Oh I know that you people think that scientistrs are after grants. Which is say I say to you, abandon all the advances made by scientists and follow your inclinations. The reasonable majority are not going to however, so as the science for this emerges, we will give it due consideration.
