Why would you want to find a hostage when you can talk to your dead grandparent?

It's not necessarily a hostage.

When the CIA worked on the project, they thought it would be a novel approach to communicate to others in certain situations where normal communications wouldn't be available or possible.

Example of a hostage situation and using RV to communicate:

3 Operatives get taken prisoner in an operation.
These operatives have been trained to use basic RV techniques to communicate one of 4 predefined statements using ideograms.


1: I'm / We are ok and in good health
Ideogram: Any Lake, Large Body of Water


2: I / We are located in a major population city (NYC, LA, etc)
ideogram: Mountains, high Rocky terrain with peaks, etc


3: I / We do not know where we are. Isolated location.
ideogram: Flowers, field of flowers, etc


No need to do a 4th. You can get the idea from the above.


Now the hostages don't need to be able to RV. But as long as they have the ideogram codes remembered, they know what to think about at certain times they know that RV's will try to locate them.

When the RV attempts to communicate with them and picks up on the Large Body of Water, say Lake Pontchartrain, they know that the hostages are OK and in good health.


Easy cheesy.



As far as talking to a dead person via RV - I don't know how you could really do that. Remote viewing doesn't offer communication capabilities outside of the ideogram based system, which requires both parties to know the codes.

If I wanted to talk to a dead relative, I'd pick up a Oujia board, and I have no desire to ever do that.

Well as far as I know once you start opening up pathways telepathically or leaving your body then you open a channel to the 'other' side including speaking with the dead. It's funny, it reminds me a lot of the Tibetans and the way they find their Dalai Lama. Once he is reincarnated, kind of like a 'hostage' in a way. :)

As soon as you can leave your body consciously, then all sorts of new avenues open up such as reincarnation. Imagine a CIA agent being reincarnated and sending out a message for them to find him. It's a funny thought.

OP if you are talking to dead relatives then you are talking about Astral Projection.

Remote Viewing is different.
