Your account balance will still show the same amount of money, but the spending power of it will be reduced to shit.

Moreover, that will continue year after year until the dollar is worth NOTHING.

Savers will be losers. If you live under the rule of "a penny saved is a penny earned" you're setting yourself up to be eaten alive by the coming hyperinflation.

Anyone living on a fixed income will get hammered -and that means pretty much everyone. There will be more and more barter transctions, black market transactions, off the books transactions, tax cheating, etc and that will reduce tax revenues even more and thus cause Bernanke to print even MORE for gubmnt to spend. It will be a vicious cycle that will continue until the dollar collapses completely.

You are right, that money has been stolen, but it has been stolen by the oil companies, who manipulate prices to ensure they make billions a year - - - there is no more corrupt industry in the world. In the last 5 years, Exxon has made record profits in the billions per quarter! It is not that "their costs have gone up" (as they will have you believe) - - if their "costs" went up, they wouldn't be making record profits, that is where your 40% went.

Housing prices have fallen tremendously, had you put your 1000 into a house in 2008 - it might have paid for 1/200 of that house, now it might pay for 1/160, which would be a 20% increase in your spending power.

Do not forget that in October of 2008, one month prior to the election, Wall Street and the international bankers forced the country to give them $8000Billion to keep them afloat, that was currency from tax receipts - your money, too. They said if they didn't get it "within a week" it would put the whole world in a recession - - so no one got to really ask hard questions, also done a month before the election so they knew that people would quickly forget or move on.

They are not going to come after "savings deposits" in the US, they don't have to, they have already shown that they can bleed us dry through price manipulation (see the oil cartel) and raiding the tax receipts. The people of Cyprus probaby are better off than we are, at least they know the exact amount taken.

Well the Dow is hitting all time record highs. I doubt it will be anytime soon.
