Excellant post, most people here prefer to blame Obama than to hear that he doesn't have the power to do what they are accusing him of doing.

It is also worth noting that the last time the world banking system wanted something from the US, they didn't go after our pilfy savings accounts, they simply went directly to the US government and within 9 days came out with $800 Billion in 2008, which they simply used to buy positions that they deflated and ran them up to the all time highs we see now.

What a wonderful world! And, to top it off, they can count on the "in the know" people who actually realize it is all a conspiracy, to be good little sheeple screaming at other poor people from different countries, different religions, or different skin color, rather than point their anger right at the top.

Income for the bottom 90% of Americans grew (once adjusted for inflation) $59 dollars from 1966-2011. Americans are so dumbed down and brainwashed consumers they cannot see what the 1% has done, the sense We have of exceptionalism and that it cant happen here is exactly what insures that it will. Too many dollars chasing too few goods. America's number one export is trash number two the dollar... Deny all you want but MATH IS MATH!

It's funny how the market is such a good indicator of doom, only when it suits your needs. As soon as it starts doing well, people ignore it.

yes what you said is right but the trillion dollar question is WHEN. they can keep propping the market with fake money 10 years from now just like today, and sheeps will celebrate recovery. the debt can reach 100 trillion but who cares, who has bigger guns to call our debt?

I have always saved. Now we're living in an upside down world where right is wrong, black is white, up is down--and where squanderers are rewarded and savers are penalized.

No one can give a day as to When, but, we are like Britian in 1866, Germany in 1938, The U.S.S.R. in 1989... The greeks, Romans, Ottomans, Bourbans, so forth and so on. All empires end, typically when the move from a society the produces and manufactures to one that services, whether it be debt or just burger king. We have closed 56,000 factories since 2001. We do not do anything or make anything anymore. We cannot afford the interest on our debt much less pay it off. This is the end of empire it always looks the same, yet most will not see until it is over.

Entitlements make up for 70% of the budget, we have become a nation of dependents, we have lost the ability to create, Johnsons Great society sealed the deal, We are now a Welfare state and the world is waking to the Fact that America is dead and we are no longer a superpower, Someone will call this bluff. It is Human nature to think it cant happen to you, which is waht insures that it will.

Agreed, you not having a bank account helps but you cant eat money and when the grocery stores are empty it will matter not where you kept your money.... Stock food and water, get ready with that money!

Oh I have a bank account. I use it strictly to pay my mortgage and bills. Other than that it carries a $10-20 balance.

I have seen this coming for years and have been prepping ever since.

I have food, water, medical, communications, a B.O.V, (now with solar power!) and plans A, B, C, and D.

I'm also a member of The Southern Arizona Preppers Group.

I actually believe I'm good to go.
