We've lived through the biggest credit expansion in history. We're due for a credit contraction which will deflate the value of Gold and Silver. Even printing 85 billion a month of funny money isn't enough to reinflate the markets there's 1% growth if there is any growth at all.

The only reason China is buying Gold is because they want to use a Gold backed currency to make sure their Renminbi is used as the new Global reserve currency but as the middle class expands in the middle kingdom they'll be forced to revert to using a fiat currency too.

Eventually a reserve currency will be used that is issued by the IMF or World Bank or even a multinational conglomerate.

IF it was planned by the Western Elite to use Gold as money then the Federal Reserve would be buying Gold but there isn't enough Gold to back all the currency demanded by the affluent in the world without making it unaffordable to the middle classes.

Besides the Governments can always confiscate Gold for a pittance. Unless your Gold is in Switzerland or protected by a private army then all your Gold is gone.

That's probably the best use of OP's money so far!

Working is a good thing, I got a call from my older sister and her husband the other night. ? how many jobs have you had. I really couldn't give and answer. It's been quit a few over the years. And I still rent, and i'm saving to buy a house one day. I've never taken a real vacation. Life has got to be more than work until death. 1 great vacation and a car to drive home in after it's all over. At least i'll have done something nice once. Something to look back on in a photo I went there, I did that. And not break down on the way home. buying 1 tire at a time or fix one thing until the next part breaks. Yeah it's one laugh after another. But i've gotten pretty good at changing tires, checking the oil and other fluids. and I can tell the guy what's wrong when i take the car in. And that's good. most of the females I know don't have a clue. And it's still getting me to work on time daily, in the transportation field. Another one of those funny little things in life.
