Wow Yeah The King (I got lucky, saw his show 1X at Harrah's)- Picturing mega-handsome Elvis now as he looked onstage singing his songs so emotional in That Beautiful Voice. Talk about taking control of the room...strutting his hot stuff around all puffed up & festooned with a jet-black crest and sideburns & diamonds in gold rings on every finger & with that thunderbird of southwestern gemstone beads embroidered on his cape & superhero jumpsuit. Then there's Elvis' pals playing backup in coordinated sartorial splendor singing sounds of the critters of Dixie; it makes ya almost wonder whether that extravaganza production was inspired by or auditioning for National Geographic. It was magic.

No doubt he was a stud.

Anyways - the way they build on each others' songs is very tryptamine-ish in nature. I mean VERY. It builds in uneven patterns. 1 song, 1 back, 1 song again, 1 back again with another added. 1 song with another, same 2 back as before with 2 more elements added.

Birds build songs much like our brains create thoughts when under the effect of a heavy tryptamine dose. Loops or thought sequences where every prior thought event is re-thought leading up to the next, whereby the process starts over from the beginning again until the next element in the string is experienced - that sort of thing. It's how time is processed slower - or really, how we perceive time in a different, more foreseeable way when our brains are more active.

I've known very light weed smokers who did not fall into heavy habits because this same phenomenon can easily happen from cannibinoid stimulation in some.

I've also known seizure sufferers to describe the same type of thought patterns occurring during the 'comeback' phase where memory is still distorted heavily. As the memories fade back in, it all sort of 'clicks' together once the association sequence loop is broken free of and memories from different time frames can be keyed in on.

Curious if these subconscious association sequences are actually always going on and the real addiction one suffers from is forgetting. A common thread in desire among drug addicts is to 'get back' to the first encounter, initial experience, with their drug of addiction. Begs how one would answer the question of what the first 'blissful' experience in one's life would be.

The problem with not forgetting things and leaving a 'human' state of thought is that in all instances I describe, it can only be done so in what can best be described as an 'entranced' state.

It's sort of difficult to eat and breed while entranced...

Well, some might say the latter is a result of being entranced, too :D

My thoughts ran that way when they had me in their spell the other day. Several different varieties of birds did that ballet they will do in early spring when they fly inside the same tree from branch to branch. When their wings spread big then they return to practical invisibility as another lump among the leaf buds so fast when again alighting on a branch, they enjoy the dance and sing about it. Entranced.

waking up with the chatter of birds, the warmth of the sun of your body, and the smell of wild nature, is always a heavenly experience. there must be a reason why birds' chirping is a pleasant auditive stimulus for most humans.

i wonder how birdsong relates to 'genuine' glossolalia...

anyway, this thread reminds me of some texts, either by J.G. Bennett or Gurdjieff, where was reference to sufis being able to read the language of the birds, bees and flowers - to get information on events.


i've seen the same during the last years: an abnormally high amount of birds killed by traffic.


birds perceive magnetic lines of force; they have magnetite somewhere in their brain. bees and some other insects too.

The birds in my backyard go crazy every morning (actually they go crazy all day long), and there are a ton of em.

My brother is a 'Master Falconer/Bird of Prey'.

Here is an owl he was rehabilitating. His name is 'Hootie'.

My friend called me yesterday morning to tell me he was able to pet a dove that landed on his car (parked in his driveway)...he was super excited and in amazement...the best part is he started to research birds and their language...

I told him pics or it didn't happen...he just laughed...

I saw this video a while ago, or one similar. Those birds are crazy!
