I predict that on thursday morning if they even open at 9:00 am that at 9:05 they are closed and out of money at every location including the ATM's

The banks will try to drag this out. But ultimately you are right...the banks will be dry as a bone sooner or later.
Meanwhile, Europeans will be watching and withdrawing money from their banks until they, too are dry. IOW dominoes.

In the US, the Fed might try to create a huge amount of money, the result being that a small bag of rice costs $5 or $10.
A pound of round beef could be $25 or $125 depending on how much the Fed prints.
