What is there to hide?

THIS..your own LIES!

1992 "Today, a small percentage of mankind can still recall the dramatic events of 1914. Will that elderly generation pass away before God saves the earth from ruin? Not according to Bible prophecy. 'When you see all these things,' Jesus PROMISED, 'know that he is near at the doors. Truly I say to you that THIS generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' - Matthew 24:33, 34." (Watchtower May 1, 1992 page 3: The Year That Shocked The World)

Well..that generation is dead and once again the governing body is in error as usual.

1993 (The society's latest 'History' book - "Jehovah's Witnesses, Proclaimers of God's Kingdom", 1993) [Note: At the end of this book there is a chronological section called 'Notable Dates'. The predictions for 1925 and 1975 don't even get a mention! Talk about rewriting history to gullible young converts!]

1993 "Further, the widely circulated booklet Millions Now Living Will Never Die presented the view that in 1925, God's purposes regarding the restoring of the earth to Paradise and the resurrecting of the faithful ones of old would begin to be fulfilled. ... The year 1925 came to its conclusion, but the end was not yet! Ever since the 1870's, Bible Students had been serving with a date in mind - first 1914, then 1925. Now they realized that they must serve for as long as Jehovah wishes." (Watchtower; Nov. 1, 1993; p. 12)

Yep..keep BUYING the lie for as long as the governing body is making MONEY from you in other words.

1995 [Discussing the generation of Mt 24] "apparently refers to the peoples of earth (now) who see the sign of Christ presence but fail to mend their ways." (Watchtower November 1, 1995 p.12)

More fail

1995 Bible Students, known since 1931 as Jehovah's Witnesses, also expected that the year 1925 would see the fulfillment of marvelous Bible prophecies. ... More recently, many Witnesses conjectured that events associated with the beginning of Christ's Millennial Reign might start to take place in 1975. Their anticipation was based on the understanding that the seventh millennium of human history would begin then. (Awake, June 22, 1995 p. 9)

Dont shoot the messenger...these are your OWN PUBLICATIONS..ive seen them with my own eyes too.

1995 "Why Awake is Published" [before Nov 8th 1995] Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away." [After Nov. 8 1995 reference to '1914 generation' deleted] "Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure world that is about to replace the present wicked, lawless system of things."

See..they re write it to suit their current "Light"..in other words..they mess up..and have to cover their tracks..and you fools keep buying it anf buying it.

SO..are you going to delete this from the thread..for fear of your OWN "TRUTH" being exposed for the LIE it actually is?

Nope....not going to delete.....

Soooo.....what is your hope for the future? and what hope do you have to share with us all?

Well..I am HOPING to share a civilised discussion with a real live JW as to WHY you wont answer any of my posts about your own past failed predictions.

But so far none of you have the courage to face the writings of your own governing body to explain WHY they have been wrong again and again for 100 years straight.

I get the same stony silence from the rapture set.

Years and years of faisl..based basically around the same set of mumbers and scriptures you guys use but still ALWAYS wrong.

The only difference between you guys and the rapture tards is you guys dont curse and swear when confronted with your own failures. You guys just ignore them...which in its own way is slightly more annoying, in the sense that ANY response is better than NO response..even if it is proving themselves to be the ultimate hypocrites when it comes to showing "fruit"

but still..id like just ONCE to have an intelligent discussion.

You guys seem intelligent..DGNs anti evolution threads are great..but can you guys PLEASE be open minded enough to at least FACE some of the things you have gotten wrong?

Ya know..humility IS a fruit as well..lets see if you have enough to admit you MAY have been wrong a few times.

Well..your governing body has been anyway..THEY are the ones who write your magazines.

If the error is anyones..its theirs.

No, it is obvious you have an agenda of hate. JW's have never claimed infallibility, such as the Pope claims. Changes in scriptural understanding is an expected result of imperfect people interpreting scripture. These "bullet points" you continue to throw out there, do not change the Bible's message of God's Kingdom solving mankind's problems, the same Kingdom Jesus spoke of in the Lord's Prayer. Neither has it changed Jehovah's timetable in regards to when Armageddon will come- no man knows, not even Jesus knows the day or hour. My hope of living forever on a Paradise earth is unchanged. I encourage people that have lost loved ones in death by sharing the Bibles hope of the resurrection. I do as the Bereans, and read and examine the scriptures to make sure that what I read is in harmony with the Bible, if it is not, I am sure an adjustment will be made in the future, in the meantime, I expect to be hated and jeered at by some, just as Jesus and the Apostls were. Paul was one of the foremost persecutors of early Christians, and he changes and became a Christian. Was his life easy after that? NO!But h did everything he could for the sake of the good news of God's Kingdom. So take your agenda of hate, and tuck it away- there are thousands of examples of truth I have been shown from the Bible with the aid of humble, good-hearted, kind JW's...
