the pain is an illusion and goes with the Avatar or your character role. the only way i know to get beyond the pain is by feeling the feelings and connecting current pain to past childhood trauma which connects the dots and helps you see the patterns and break them which takes the charge away. check out michael brown's book The Presence Process. it's kind of like that bible expression "it's easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven". for myself it means more that you have to strip off the layers or deprogram yourself. kind of like the Avatar is clothing and you remove it to get bare into your infinite wisdom state. just remember the emotions are NOT who you really are beyond form and mind. you wisdom state is a FEELING state but not emotional (ie.pain)
