Why Do People Hate On Walmart?

Why do people hate Walmart as opposed to any other major retail chain? I constantly hear people talk about how Walmart pays 'low wages', but it pays just as good or better than many other retail chains for a poverty job and as for the fact that most of the goods it sells are outsourced from China, that is also true about nearly every other retail store (Target, Home Depot, Lowes etc). So what is with the Walmart obsession?

Walmart is a good store in general. Before I made my money, I moved from Britain to the States. I invested all the money I had into an Internet start-up and I was a poor. So I used to shop at Walmart because I liked the prices, the more money I saved on shopping went back into my business ventures and the ability to get most everything I need there at one stop saved me valuable working time. Although there were some things I would not buy there due to being particular about the quality of some products... Like meat and poultry, I won't eat any factory farmed meat and I don't trust the labels when they say it's not factory farmed but most everything else I needed I got from Walmart!

I know big corporations like Walmart put a slight hurting on smaller business... But let's face it, that is what we call the evolution of businesses and corporations. If the smaller mom and pop places can compete with the low prices then most people may stick to shopping in their hometown. I am not totally heartless, I vary really go grocery shopping anymore because I dine out for breakfast/lunch/dinner most every days and just keep the bare minimum I need in my home but I when I do go for groceries I go to local stores now because I don't really buy that much.

For those Idiots out there on a Walmart boycott, it's just silly. Look at how full the parking lot is at Walmart stores at any given time, they are busy because of the convenience and low prices. Why pay more for the same product and waste time having to shop at two or three stores when you can just go to one store and get all the shopping done at once.
