How the fuck did it ever become legal for a government president to legally back any corporation. Isn't that like a conflict of interest? Couldn't the citizens band together and do some kind of class action lawsuit against this?

Actually, if people would play the cards that are dealt, we could overcome this fairly simply. Instead of forcing GMO companies to label their products, how about the NON-GMO stepping up to the plate and start labeling their products as NON-GMO. Use it as a marketing scheme or whatever. Either way it gets the same job done with the same outcome. Its just all in how the problem is approached.

Maybe, what we should be doing instead of wasting time with congress is, very nicely start asking the NON-GMO companies to label their products accordingly. At the end of the day it does not matter which way the products are labeled, as long as they are.

The NON-GMO companies could also use this to their advantage in their marketing strategies.

I read all the boxes at the grocery. Read and see almost every processed food has fructose corn syrup in it. That itsself leads to obesity and diabetes, high blood pressure.

Consequently, we were not around a lot of corn planting or around cotton fields (plus, I was near the ocean), and we felt great. My allergies basically stopped, I didn't hurt all over, etc.

When we moved to South Georgia to be near family, I gradually begin to have major problems with allergies and sinus; and most of the time, when I wake up, I feel as though someone has beat me with a baseball bat. We keep Advil and Tylenol in the medicine cabinet because of constant sinus headaches.

This place is COVERED in pine trees and there are fields all around us. As a matter of fact, a man told my husband that when farmers plant the field, the seed and the pesticide go into the ground at the same time. When you pass by a field that has been sprayed, you almost can't breathe. It's awful. Thank you again for sharing this.

we just need to set up a way to certify non gmo foods. people would pay a little extra for it.

This is why the Satanists have gotten people away from growing their own food and having their own animals. They make it financially impossible for most people to buy large plots of land, herd us all on top of each other by duping us into buying a small acre or so of land, with a house, and house right on top of that on either side, at a price which will take most people the rest of their lives to pay off. At the same time they but up huge amounts of land, for a handful of people, and control corporations that constantly advertise to us to go buy their shit.

When's the last time anyone saw a commercial recommending growing your own food or planting a fruit tree? If we each had about 5-1-0 acres of land, every family could grow their own garden with non-gmo heirloom seed, have a few cows or milk goats, and we wouldn't really need to go buy their shit. Of course most people are so addicted to the additives in the "food" by now and obese that this would not be feasible, so they would just as keep buying the crap that's helping to reduce our life spans and make us unhealthy.

I would not be surprised when the new world order comes into being if it will be illegal to grow your own food. The NWO will be all about control and domination, no matter how pretty a picture they try to paint. And now that the nation is so in debt, and jobs are gone overseas, you can pretty much kiss goodbye any chance of doing what I mentioned above.

Yes, that's VERY TRUE. I'm really worried about the young folks today. Many of them have NO CURIOSITY about anything....where it comes from.....how it was grown......what's in it.....who they're actually working for?

If you ask, they just give you that nervous little laugh and say, "Uh, I'm not sure!"

We have talked to young people at various companies and have inquired about who owns the company, and they honestly don't know. The young folks today are going to have a very difficult time in the next 20 years. It's really sad.

It's illegal to label food as non-gmo. The closest you can do is organic, which is not allowed to have more than one part per hundred gmo or some shit like that. Allegedly it's because you can't know for sure that there is no GMOs in it, I doubt its anything more than a Monsanto law.

Also, what is it Obama is signing? GMOs are already not labeled, it's not like it's labeled already and he's changing that.

I mean, look at it from their point of view. You are buying a corporations product, so they see that they have the right to do whatever they want to with it. If they don't want to label it, they don't have to. Of course America is one of the biggest corporations, and is run by corporations, so of course they're not going to pass laws that would hinder them from killing us slowly and cunningly. Cloned meat has been legal in the U.S. for almost 5 years, yet it's never labeled, because people might not buy it if it were. And the way they see it, if you don't want to buy their unlabeled unnatural product, then grow your own food.

I do, Target sells some non GMO foods, they are a couple dollars more. I cant understand why these health stores sell their food so high, its like they want to make big bucks on people who want to eat healthy. What a shame.

They put these sad TV commercials on of bald headed children with tubes hooked up to them talking about cancer then the President signs an act for Frankenfoods to be hidden in children's food.

I will leave all the legalize to the lawyers. But point being, there is bound to be a way for the NON-GMO companies to label their products so that it separates them from Monsanto. That is where I was ultimately going. I do not think it matters what the label says per say. As long as there is an US vs THEM scenario and then the right marketing company can spin it any way necessary to negatively impact Monsanto products.
