In my opinion, OP, it is not that simple.

One has obligations to the souls in one's life.

Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

My elderly Mother just moved in with me, and I appreciate each day I can spend with her.

I, also, live in the mountains, and nature is a major part of my life, but are we human beings not of nature, too?

I walk my own path, but I do it lovingly with those who chose to incarnate with me,

I agree dropping fear is a biggie right now for humanity.
