Maybe they are going to stage a emp attack that whipes the whole grid to hide the fact their is indeed a asteroid on route that will end all life on earth so they want less rioting and such. I had a dream about all this during summer actually. First all electronics shut off than every one noticed there was a asteroid to the east and within a day it hit. On a more serious note, nothing will transpire, the north are just banging their pots in response to the US sending over B2 bombers, I'll eat my hat if a war starts ( luckily I don't own one )
