:NKAP01:

Look closely at the the map in the back ground of the released pic linked below.

The forward map looks like a child tried to play commander, the white map hanging up.

The more perma-map beyond that has proper military symbols. Designed by a professional military force.

The symbols are hard to pin point but the submarines were easy to point out.

The locations were easy, referenced to geography, they are accurate.

LA is not marked in this map, because it is a target for complete destruction. (assumed)

Two border towns are marked, one of is white and appears to be a communication unit (the crooked lightening arrow) and is a triangle on top (assumed - possible leadership or local HQ)

Since when does North Korea have subs?
Are they not in league with Iran, that does have subs?
Most of their 'sub-fleet' is known to be quite obsolete?
So this is speculation, but the use of another fleet by proxy
could be more like it...!

nk has 70 subs.

A few years ago a sub launched a missile off west coast. Most assumed it was chinese, could have been nkorea. Brilliant strategy to place troops in mexico, years in advance, then swoop in take san diego. Wipe out west coast pacific fleet. Chips then fall away as s korea surrenders, and japan hands over assets.
 Quoting: War eagle 25600934

North Korea surely does not have the ability to launch an SLICBM, let alone from under water...their main rockets use V2 steering tech...their engines dont gimble...

There is no way NK infantry could take LA. The gangbangers are too well armed and will stand and fight to protect their hood long after the LAPD has retreated east on I80.

I guess NK will try to run up the 395, hit China Lake, and blind the navy- turn East towards Vegas, after hitting the dams, hit Palo Verde. My guess is Bangor will also get hit, too. Western Wa. has a large sub base.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37098542

Are you fucking stupid? Those bangers don't have even 5% of whats needed to sustain a firefight with the PLA, go back to ROTC, dishonorable discharge for you.

Some people have been playing to much home front and watching red dawn to much. North Koreas estimated GDP was 45 billion dollars for 2011 the us military spending for 2012 was 707 billion dollars. So unless NK has started making money on a level never heard of be for and been spending it on there military and making leaps forward in tech like never before they ain't got a prayer in a fight with the US.

The one thing they have is a limited number of nukes but no way of delivering them to US. This talk of amazing super subs is bollocks they don't have the money or the tech to develop this type of weaponry.

actually the gangs could not take on a trained army. that's maniacally hilarious if you ask me.

They didn't fuck with the asian community when the riots in the 90's happened, so why would they fuck with an invading ground force?

And yes, they would use those other ways too, good points.

I don't think NK would invade, nor set a nuke off. I was just interjecting with an opinion.

Congress should just defund North Korea and stop giving them fissionable nuclear reactors.

Clinton gave them 2 and when they threatened to use them to build weapons, Bush W. handed them 4 more as a peace offering.

LOLOLOLOL

WTF is wrong with that picture? Did anyone remember where Japan got all of its materials to build the war machine used against the USA in WW2? Yes, you are correct...from the USA.

Every piece of steal, lead, copper, and aluminum used by Japan against the USA, came from the USA. Japan sits on a volcanic soil which does not contain metals. They used the raw materials and shipped them back to the US in the form of weapons.

They also won the economic war in the 1970's. GM, Ford, & Chrysler sent all their scrap and junked cars to Japan. Japan used the metals and sent them back to the USA in the form of cars and motorcycles....while the unions laughed.

You have to understand that to them, if they were able to say Nuke LA to them that would be a win.....

It doesn't take that much money to build a 70 year old weapon technology, and the koreans could just steal/copy the rocket technology like the US did from the germans.....

It's gonna suck if TPTB are intentionally downplaying the korean threat that way ole kim can actually pull some of this shit off with a little help with some other countries that hate us.

Yeah waste a lot that's why the US has 10 Nimitz class carriers with almost as many aircraft onboard as the NK airforce, 20 or so b-2 bombers in service and 72 subs.

In a conventional war NK has no chance that's why they keep saying they will go nuclear. Now they have tested a few nukes and got them working they can stamp and shout like a child with a gun and people will listen.

6 guys with 1000 rounds each and some grenades near highway overpasses could kill thousands of Americans stuck in traffic.

Figure what 600 guys like that could do.

It's not making the bomb that cost it's refining the nuclear material that's the hard and costly bit and if its so easy to get the tech to make a rocket why hasn't hezbollah hit the US with a rocket?

Under estimating North Koreans Military potential is ridiculous.

Obviously those who mock them know next to nothing about their armed forces. How much they train since a very young age.

Three generations of intense anti-western propaganda. These people will die for their leader. They are not some silly Iraqi army.

They make their own weapons, out number all other nations in fast attack subs, can level Seoul in 1 hour with conventional artillery.

If you ever read the training some of the best over their get, it is intense. Snipers train constantly and have deadly aim.

This would be an epic war of human persistence versus human technology.
