If you were in you home cooking supper then heard the sirens sound and emergency broadcast say we are under attack take cover what would you do.

Say your driving down the road coming home from work, what would you do?

Explain what you would do?

Immediately get on GLP to find out what the hells going on.

Well since its still cold outside I would put on a wool baselayer, then I would put on a wool thermal midlayer and grab some softshell pants and a Shell Jacket.

Put on some Wool socks, Boots, wool glove liners and mechanic gloves.

Grab my Rifle and link up with Local Militia.

After I called the loved ones, I'd grab a few beverages and head to the beach.

On a more serious note, I'd start running through my regular bad weather type preps. Making sure everything's charged, flashlights, devices etc. then start filling up my water containers.

Dam where you at to need that many layers. It would all be over by the time you got it on lol

You are of no use to anybody if your taken down to exposure.

Winter layering is just basic outdoor skills.

The more I thank about it. Why spend your time running around looking for a place to hide if it is a catastrophic event. I would hold my wife and children tight, until death knocks at our door.

Head north to Idaho. Find a way to go farther north into Canada's northern limits. Muster a force of 10,000 burly, pissed off white men and strike into the heart of North Korea.

I'd try to call, but I would think all lines of communication would be down making that impossible.

I'm sure total chaos and panic would set in and many more will die from that than the initial strike most likely.

I couldn't even imagine being that mother on the Titanic or for that matter, the folks that hung on to the side of the WTC before letting go knowing that was the only way out.

I honestly think you'd be better off hunkering down where you were at and try to ride it out until the initial shock and awe was over. At that point you could try to reconnect with people.

I'd like to think I would remain calm and make it through, but until it actually happens no one really knows how they're going to react.
