Wanted to test nuclear weaponry on Australians. But refused to share any information with Australia at the same time. Cut Australia out of the deal. Prevented Australia from getting nuclear weapons to defend itself against enemies created for Australia by the US

The US screwed Britain too. Britain was ahead in atomic research. The US wanted that info, so approached the UK, promising to share info. Soon as the US had what it wanted from the UK, it reneged on the deal, took the info, shared nothing

Then look at Pine Gap. The US took Australian land to build vital US communication and defence bases. The US to this day refuses to give any information even to the Aussie Prime Minister. Any Aussie PM who's stood up to the US and stated it's Australia's right to know what America is doing there on Australian land --- ends up dead or deposed
