Stan Lee's Superhumans: HUMAN SHIELD (Updated Video)

For those of you unfamiliar with this History Channel show, it features the host (Daniel) traveling around the world to interview, document, and test/challenge humans who claim to possess various 'superhuman' qualities and attributes.

On one of the newest episodes they featured this karate master dubbed as the 'human shield'. He claims to have trained his body not to feel and react to pain. When the host first met him, the karate master challenged the Daniel to kick him in the groin as hard as he could, which he did. The karate master didn't even flinch after 2 consecutive strikes.

In this clip you will see the show testing his claims of being a 'human shield'. They invited 3 well known 'strikers' on the show to test the man's abilities. One individual is a world class 'kicker' the other is a professional boxer known for his punching power, and the other I think is another karate expert/master. Prior to this clip they had these 3 individuals strike a pressure sensor so they could measure the force of their blows/strikes. The kick was registered at 900 (psi) the lateral strike 500 (psi) and the uppercut was the highest at 1000 (psi). The doctor/expert you see supevising the test was concerned that these blows could severely injure the gentleman, especially the strike to the throat which he said could kill a person.
