Im from mexifornia, left18 years ago and slowly earned my texan title, not proud i descended from cali infact i never admit this, (noone hete will ever know me) so very proud texas accepted me, werent easy though, their tough here but once you prove your loyalty they are good people who look out for each other. Cali is every man for himself, welfared out girly state, racist to a disrespectful level. We would squash you we would ban together.

See heres the difference in mexifornia and texas, you all slaughter each other for no reson other then an outsider walks into your neighborhood or robbing and killing your neighbors is a hugh problem. Because we can so freely own guns and can legally use them for self protection without an arrest or charges we respect each more then mexifornia. In mexifornia if you shoot and or kill someone in self defense or stepping on my property unwelcome you get arrested jailed and have to prove your innocence.

i will go out on a very stable limb and say ca is the best, most badass state in the entire united states.

Remember, California has many rich movie stars and people that always have guards armed and ready ....many of them are prepped and ready for what may happen (earthquake etc). Plus, how many gangs do we have here ? Plus many average joe families - have weapons to protect thier families , food and shelter. I know Texas is tough and brag a lot, however the power is in the silence of knowing and being prepared for anything. We will protect what's ours!
This goes for any martial law as well that might happen in the future.

Offhand, you would think Texas - those folks love their guns; but California has a high percentage of gays, and it's a known fact that the greatest warriors throughout history are guy, so I would go with California on this.

With all things considered it would be a close fight.

California has 34 military bases and afew have the worlds most advanced tech aswell as 1 being a space command. An those bases come with alot of hardened leaders and soldiers. California has the edge here.

Texas definitely will have a larger militia force due to most Californians being uses less eaters who will be victims by their own design expecting other to protect them and when shtf nobody will be there but the people who are going to victimize them. Cali also has many out of shape who are unfit to fight and Texas has this issue aswell. As for numbers Texas has it even those Cali has millions more people Texas will have more that are fit and willing to fight.

Both have enough resource IE fuel , food , power , industry , water , minerals , ect. Would be a tie there.

California has a much better geographical location to defend itself while Texas would have to defend the all borders and Cali has a huge naval for e that would make it impossible to attack by sea from the west. And Texas is so huge and is extremely vulnerable to a land incursion by California salons the west -north and east. Geographical advantage California.

I believe it would all come down to tactics and execution of operations.
If Texas was able to knock out San onofre power plant and Id and cutoff supply lines and use those exposed vulnerable areas to take land and use them as forward positions. Texas would win but I could say the same for California if they executed their battle plans as I described.

Well, I have lots of friends in Texas and I've been to the Alamo (remember the Alamo)in Austin... so I know they are good to go for anything that comes their way as well.
