I cant believe this is even a question. TEXAS..hands down. You are comparing one state that is heavily armed and known for defending their second amendment right versus a liberal state overrun with entertainment industry anti-gun hippies, wine connoisseurs and, well, San Francisco.

The phrase "Remember the Alamo" won a war! Texas takes no prisoners and will sentence you to death for the wrongs you commit, regardless of your IQ.

California has a problem even getting a conviction on a murder case. They make a production out of the trials, "if the gloves don't fit, you must acquit."

Not to mention that while Texas produces oil and has the means to refine it, Cali would have a hard time finding a tank that will meet the CAFE standards.

Before posting anything, maybe you should know Texas history a little better before banking on numbers.

In the Battle of San Jacinto, where Texas won the battle against Mexico and won it's freedom. There were over 1400 Mexican troops and 900 Texas troops. Not only did Texas win, but they killed over 630 Mexican soldiers. Only NINE Texas soldiers were killed.
