Every person I know who has had it done has had bad problems.Do some research. I wouldnt do it.

That's what they get for going to shitty dentists that don't know what they're doing. Do some research first and make sure the specialize in implants.

My experience is just the opposite. As I said above, everyone I know who has had it is beyond pleased.

Why not a denture initially if you can't afford an implant then get implants later after you have saved money, and taxes, in a health care savings account.

That is what I am doing. Just wonder if implants will be worth the $7,000 price tag.

get a nice well made permanent denture set in --what do they call them ? fixed bridge ?
then you won't have to be concerned with infections etc-

Implants act like antennas and receive radio and EMF waves from the air, into your body. Not good.

Re: Please, give me your input on dental implants..
While I do not have any false teeth or even a permanent bridge, I do have two older implants and have just gotten a third done (old crown from 30+ yrs ago came out when the tooth underneath finally fractured and gave up). The implants have worked great for me and I have had no problems with them. And, as someone posted earlier, I have been told by both dentists and oral surgeons that when a tooth is extracted from the bone and nothing is put back in place of the tooth, some bone loss results. However, I must say that this is probably not the best place to look for advice on medical treatment. Like any surgery, implants come with risks. I suggest that you delve deeply into all of the information that you can find, pro and con, about both prosthetics and implants and decide what's best for you. Remember, someone else's experience will not necessarily portend your own.

I have two implants, don't remember having much pain afterwards and they have been fine..There was an issue with me not having enough bone, however my dentist put some sort of stuff to make the bone grow...
He is one of the best Dentist I have come across.

The US military was there once, to see how he does what he does.
No joke, hes kind of famous.

If you want to make a trip to Guatemala, I'll give you the details of where he is. You wont regret it.
