Took a trip to AZ last year. Thinking of moving there. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly?

What type of person are you.

If you are material then Scottsdale, AZ is my recommendation.

Phoenix is like Los Angeles or any other shitty large metropolitan city, but hey you can at least carry a gun legally without a permit.

If you are into being in a safe location, growing your own food, having your own well, etc., then I have other recommendations for you.

Our growing seasons are short. I highly recommend raised beds, and a greenhouse.

Been in my undisclosed area of AZ for about 2 years, and I personally love it.

Hey OP, Flagstaff is where "they" filmed the moon-landings. Look it up. Maybe you can take a drive to the old crater site where they used explosives to make the earth look more like the moon.

Good luck!

You are either a libtard, gay, or lesbian. You have ruined my home town. One big fire away from looking like SpringerVille.

I hate Flagstaff. Mean stuck up people there. Real snobby town who cater to the snobby stuck up college people. A bunch of college kids get away with crimes others wouldnt. A place where they want to use questionable sewer water to make fake snow for skiers. A place that has no heart really.

Back in the 90's I used to sell weed out of sun dance bakery on sanfransico st. I'd run it by the pound up from Phoenix. Used to put it inside my mountain bike tire and throw the bike on the rack.

Re: I am in Flagstaff, AZ. Ask me a question.
Flagstaff's climate is like Chicago, due to an elevation of about 6900 feet.

Brutally cold winters, blizzards where you must have chains on the tires to drive.

It SUCKS, but in Summer, is a pleasant respite from the heat of Phoenix or Tucson.

If you are an astronomy buff, Flagstaff has severe restrictions on light pollution.

I'd much rather live in Sedona.

Sedona's a little too touristy. Awesome to visit. Not sure about living there. But I agree that Sedona is awesome! Flag and Sedona complement each other well and only about half an hour apart. And what a drive down Oak Creek Canyon on Hwy 89! One of the most beautiful drives anywhere.
