From the Dallas News link above:

"According to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity, the door of the McLellands’ home appeared to have been kicked in."

“It is an awful scene, and there are shell casings everywhere,” the official said. “This is unprecedented. This is unbelievable. This is huge.”

Do not assume the most obvious suspects in this.
The obvious suspects would be white supremacists, the Aryan Brotherhood. This would fit into the agenda.

Lets look at who may have been direct enemies of both McLelland and Hasse:

On Friday, July 27, 2012, James Patrick Crawford, was found guilty and sentenced on six felony charges, including two counts of aggravated kidnapping, one count of aggravated assault, directing gang activities, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and engaging in organized criminal activity.

All charges stemmed from a gang related shooting on August 1, 2011 involving the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas. The investigation and prosecution was a collaborative effort by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, ATF, and regional gang task forces.

A Kaufman County jury assessed punishment at two Life sentences for the allegations of Directing Certain Criminal Street Gangs and Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Deliver. They further assessed punishment at 80 years for both aggravated kidnapping allegations and thirty years each for each of the remaining allegations.

Assistant District Attorney Brandi Fernandez led the prosecution assisted by Shelton Gibbs, and after the jury found Crawford guilty of six of eight alleged charges the defendant elected to have the jury impose his sentence.

During sentencing, ADA Fernandez introduced extensive evidence regarding Crawford’s prior criminal history which included convictions for burglary, possession of controlled substances, theft, and forgery from Texas and Louisiana.

The jury also heard evidence regarding Crawford’s involvement and rank in the Aryan Brotherhood.

At the conclusion of the sentencing hearing, Judge Howard Tygrett sentenced Crawford in accordance with the jury’s verdict and then ordered the sentences to run concurrently.

Mike McLelland, the Kaufman County District Attorney, expressed great pleasure with the outcome, especially considering Crawford’s status as an active gang member.

Mike has practiced law for eighteen years as a criminal defense attorney, mental health judge, and special prosecutor for Family and Protective Services.

I think we can assume many would want him dead then long list of suspects whose children's lives he ruined.

I live in Kaufman county and I can speak on behalf of friends and family who learned of this just before 10 pm.....We are tired of what is going on in our town and believe me thete is SOMETHING going on around here. We are very sad that there are five grown childten of Mr. and Mrs. McLelland who ave lost both of their parents tonight.

We do not know what is going on around here but there is a bad vibe all around. Besides the assasinations of two Kaufman County DAttorneyws we have had a sudden increase in brazen armed robberies by two bandana wearing masked men in the last three weeks!!

Heck...I think Im not far out in the country enough. This used to be considered out in the country.

And by the way...Yes we carry guns in Texas and Im sure therr are a lot of people who wish they could have been at their house to help protect them but this was done in their house and not in public so WE do not want to hear your snide remarks about gun toting Texans. It usually comes from people in countries who pay half a million dollars for a coffin size apartment and they are sufficated with do's and don'ts and are basically jealous, but they are welcome to visit anytime.
I moved in with my elderly parents after my dad had a stroke 2 years ago. Now we are like the three muscateers. I kept buying gallons of water and can goods each time I went for groceries and if on-sale stacks of bottled water...finally Mama politely asked whats up with all the water. I finally came out and told her. I think it went well, the other day she was talking to a real estate lady. I asked why? She said , I was reading and we need a bug-out place...hehe true story!
Well enough about me.

In 2010 we moved to kaufman tx
The first night in our home we woke up to sheriffs blocking our road to our 14 acre property and choppers overhead.

A body was found of a woman bordering our prop by a jogger

This sounds like to me it is drug cartel related with professional hits

We moved

Yeah fucking right.

They are all just as corrupt as everything else.

Those not interested in collateral damage, dont poke your noses into the shit can.

That is how you stay safe in such environments.

Some of these cases are professional hits. Others are cartel related. Others are other public officials knocking off their competition, and knocking off those that have their secrets to tell. Others are hits of another kind.

Some still are foreign operators taking them out for reasons only known to them.

There is all sorts of shit going as Rome burns.

This is only the beginning.

Or, someone who was working on gun control legislation for Texas, or the County.

Considering its Texas, I would go with the latter, rather than the former.

The Mexican drug cartels are already working in the U.S.. I would expect that they've been set up win Texas a while longer than other parts of the country, due to the shared border and access to the state.

Law enforcement have been their targets in Mexico for years. If the other law enforcement/gov. leaders in Kaufman are "in hiding", it would be because they are dealing with something very big and successful, like the Mexican cartels. Personally, I don't believe that an "Aryan nation" gang would be that strong or organized, unless some of those groups have joined with the cartels in some way.

There have been crimes here in the U.S. believed to be associated with the cartels already. In one particular case, there were non-Mexican suspects involved as well.

So, different gangs joining forces with the cartels, would definately be a turn for the worse, imho.

Of course, it could be a disgruntled person or some other group...but for the others to go into hiding...it has to be something worse...
