I am not very good with counting maths numbers.
but why Christians believe that Jesus was dead for 3 days before he rose from the dead?
the way I count it was only 1 day at the very most.
He died on Friday sunset.
Then Saturday was the Sabbath so no-one knows if he was dead or alive.
Then Mary Magdalene went to check on him at first light Sunday morning and he was already gone.
so at the very most he was only dead for one day, not 3 days?
