Chavez was a good man but he's been dead 20 years and no one has even thought of him for 30 or more. All the stores and restaurants around me for 40 miles are NOT closed today because it's Cesar Chavez' fucking birthday. They're closed because it's EASTER celebrated or acknowledged by at ONE BILLION CHRISTIANS. They don't have to put up any religious symbol as many of us are not into that anyway. Just acknowledge the actual REAL holiday with an Easter Bunny or eggs (which is what BING has done). This is totally fucked up and a slap in a face to one billion people. They would not have missed some other religious holiday probably even the obscure ones - nor should they. This shows a deeply rooted anti Christian bias at Google, and I say, as a technical Christian, FUCK YOU GOOGLE. At least Bing, as evil as Microsoft is acknowledges the holiday, I'll be using them from now on. |

You tell me where bunnies and eggs have anything to do with Jesus Christ. Oh right, they don't. Easter about the goddess Astarte/Ashtoreth. Christians should be ashamed to be celebrating something like that and should stop it immediately and beg God for forgiveness. Go Google! |

I am sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a racist rant earlier, I was just soo mad and guess makes me look stupid. But like you said, some reference to either Jesus's plight or Easter in general for their customers like Bing did would have been just fine. But to totally ignore a very large number of their users and post a tribute to a dead communist Mexican, who both helped and hindered his own peoples plight on Easter Sunday just because Obama decided he wanted to dedicate a day to a dead Commie Allie who's organization probably had a part in helping elect him in the first place because of immigration reform is wrong on so many levels. Anonymous Coward User ID: 9664906 United States 03/31/2013 12:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why is anyone surprised by this. Didn't Google have Santa Claus on for Christmas? You know, Jesus's birthday? Quoting: RoxykinsIII Better re-read your bible there buddy. Christ was born sometime August-September. Proof: Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem to be part of the census. The census was conducted summer through fall because the mountains were impassable during the winter and most of spring. Also, the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem would be nearly impossible for Mary to make in her condition Shepards were out with their flocks throughout the night. Another thing you can't do in Bethlehem during the winter, since it is cold and rainy. During the winter, they kept their flocks close and stayed in their homes at night. A likely time for them to have traveled was in September during the annual Feast of Tabernacles, since travel was common and accepted around that time, and that would explain their difficulty finding lodging. Furthermore, the Word was made flesh and dwelt (literally tabernacled) among us (John 1:14) supports the probability that it occurred during the feast of the tabernacles. Since Christianity was based in Judaism, it would make sense that his birth would have coincided with a Jewish holiday, and as a bonus for you, if he was born on 9-29 during the feast of the tabernacles, that would mean God knocked her up around 12-25... This means, you are celebrating a woman cheating on her husband, then lying about it, not the birth of the baby Jesus. Like Easter, Christmas is just another holiday Christians stole from pagans. Easter is based on Ishtar, a Babylonian holiday where they worship the goddess of fertility and the start of spring. Eggs and Rabbits were her symbols. So, did the bunny from Babylon visit you today? |

One thing that is impossible to do is convince xstians of there inane ideals. One xstian moral that has really been mutated is "TURN THE OTHER CHEEK" which originally meant, if someone hit you or "offended" you, you would offer them the other cheek to hit it too. A symbol of pacifism. Nowadays it's "turn the other cheek when someone is talking so you can't hear the truth." I don't even bother trying to debate the hardliners. What was once a christian nation was hijacked by Masons, Illuminati etc, and they devolved back into "pagan" polytheistic, hedonistic ego worship.
