Sorry but that type of punishment never accomplished anything except rebellion. I myself try to talk and explain to my kids what they did wrong and the consequences of there actions. Pretty much teach them right from wrong in the first place to avoid them going out and do whatever "Twerking" is.

Agreed..... but there is a line between acceptable corporal punishment and outright violent abuse, this guy crossed the line in a substantial way and should be held accountable, either through the relevant authorities or by way of some street justice.
