Sorry but that type of punishment never accomplished anything except rebellion. I myself try to talk and explain to my kids what they did wrong and the consequences of there actions. Pretty much teach them right from wrong in the first place to avoid them going out and do whatever "Twerking" is.

That makes perfect sense. Why cant we just talk to others and explain what they are doing is wrong.

Just think of the outcome of WWII if we had talked to Hitler and explained our feelings to him.
