Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37182122 Because they shipped them over to China, India, Pakistan. So when 33% of the world's population all of sudden gets an influx of new jobs, they disappear from the places they came from. If you nuke the shit out of China, India and Pakistan, a whole bunch of job openings would open up again. |

A lot of places have gotten sick of dealing with an encyclopedia of job applications and have switched to those online ones with the psychological profiles. Now they don't even have to stare at the huge stack anymore, and they can just pick sheeple who fit their profile. |

The rest of the population that are unemployed are not counted in these stupid, skewed statistics. That's part of Lying with Statistics 101. |

It is driven by sheer greed & the desire (by some) to bring this country down with a massive redistribution of wealth. yeah, in a real free market we wouldn't have all these problems. Instead of banker bailouts you would just have a financial collapse and a reboot. I like what that other person up above said about hidden technology. I didnt put that on my list because it's impossible to fact check but I also believe that trillions of dollars has been stolen from the people of the world and funneled into developing far out technologies like you would see in a star trek episode and all have been made super top secret and even their inventors were probably too compartmentalized to realize what they were working on. Now all that mad science is in the hands of the less-than-1% who rule this planet, the handfull of multibillionaire-trillionaire aristocracy type of people and they wont share it. Instead they want to wipe out all but 500 million people which they will keep to serve them as they become immortal cyborgs (at least thats the plan laid out by futurists like Ray Kurzweil) |

Growing, synthesizing, and selling recreational drugs. 2. Prostitution - there's no reason for a pretty girl to be without a job. 3. Wife for a salary - the wholesale version of the above. 4. Low cost labor - Employment for those not worth minimum wage. 5. Regulations - insurance and other crap that has nothing to do with production getting in the way of a profitable business. 6. Lack of entrepreneurial environment - Lots of risks and little reward for putting your ass on the line. 7. Taxes. Why work hard to be taxed when you can work a short time and quit, and keep almost the same after tax income. |
