Which is why the sun and moon will appear brighter in the sky. You will find alot of people saying the sun used to look yellow and what not. Now it is an obnoxious bright white. (Example) Look at how our shields performed during this last coronal hole stream. Anonymous Coward User ID: 34426154 Canada 03/31/2013 11:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Noticed this last week on the night of the full moon. I'm one of those retards that remembers a yellow sun when I was a kid back in the 60's. I saw the moon like so bright the other night that even when the clouds rolled in front it was still very visible. So I ask myself, where does the moon get its light. And myself says to me that it's just a reflector of the sun. So I says to myself that's it, the burning white hot sun is reflecting off the moon making it brighter than I have ever seen it in the past. It sounds kinda strange but I think it's the super bright sun that's causing the super bright moon. |

And how light meters, even very old ones, still register the same light. It is almost as if people's eyes get more sensitive to light as they age. If you have to insist that you've won an Internet argument, you've probably lost badly. - Danth's Law |

I could accept this but the sun is constantly white no matter what is going on above. This isn't sometimes but always. Here is an interesting thing... I was going to buy some welders goggles or hat and I was going through reviews and forums to find what kind of filter level I needed. These sites and forums were non-conspiracy and were mostly genuine welders. I saw a few of them mention they used to able to look at the sun through them with a low level filter (think it was 6) but that went up to 10 and now they can't view the sun with the maximum filter 12). They were wondering why the sun is so much brighter and why they now need more than one pair of goggles to view it. I know I get shilled when I say it is brighter and white, not yellow, so it's nice to see these non-conspiracy people noting the change as well. Be the change you want the World to be. Be |

Sun is white now, where as in the 80's was yellow. Moon does seem bigger and brighter. My eyesight is still 20/20. When the moon is out you don't need a flashlight anymore to check on the yard. |

Ummm...no...even my youngest would agree that the sun used to be yellow. Age has nothing to do with the majority of people agreeing that the sun used to be yellow. It used to be yellow and now it's blinding white. And yes...the moon is super bright. Because the sun is super bright. The coloration of the sun, however, is a direct result of atmospheric change. We have less of one, therefore, more of the sun's true color is seen. Atmosphere bends light and creates color. This is why we get rainbows. Less atmosphere (which there is no proof for) would not cause more rainbows. I remember seeing double rainbows back almost 30 years.
