I have the PRM-8000 meter and I take it all over the USA with me for business flights. On average the counter reads 300-500 CPM gamma. Whenever I fly commercial I have to silence the high radation alarm otherwise it may alarm the other passengers. I also have other monitors in the high range.

I'm flying to Korea next Friday, I will be there for a month. I will be sure to take readings during the flight and on the ground while I'm there.. Then report back to GLP with the video. There is no doubt there is a major ongoing contamination situation with Japan. My opinion is that if the Japanese don't man up like the Russians and take care of this soon... It will ultimately cause extinction of the human race.

Also, somebody here posted this before but it seems that the water around Fukushima is becoming the hottest place on earth (ocean temperature)

I'm sorry to say that I think the corium has left the containment and perhaps somehow reached the ocean. There is no other explanation for that hotspot and the amount of heat needed to warm the Pacific Ocean, even highly localized, is staggering.. Corium from three plants would do it.
